Notice of Inquiry under Section 118 of “ The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

WHEREAS John Victor Burr, of Kanape, near Foxton,
a person claiming to have leased from certain of the
Native owners shares or interests in the Iwitekai Block, and
to have been prior to the date of the passing of “ The
Native Land Court Act, 1894,” in negotiation for the lease
of the share or interest of Huru te Hiaro in the said block,
has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of the Native
Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for
the Wellington District, and has requested that an inquiry
into the circumstances thereof may be held as provided by
section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge
has referred the said claim to Robert Ward, Esq., a Judge of
the Native Land Court, for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby
give notice that such inquiry will be held at the Native
Land Court House, Whanganui, on the 28th day of March,
1895, at 10 a.m.

Notice of Inquiry under Section 118 of “ The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

WHEREAS Henry Carlsen, of Danevirke, Hawke's Bay,
a person claiming to have leased from certain of
the Native owners shares or interests in the Tiratu, or
Manawatu No. 4 Block, and to have been prior to the date
of the passing of “ The Native Land Court Act, 1894,”
in negotiation for the lease of certain other shares or in-
terests therein, has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of
the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown
Lands for the Napier District, and has requested that an
inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held as pro-
vided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the
Chief Judge has referred the said claim to Herbert Frank
Edger, Esq., a Judge of the Native Land Court, for inquiry
as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that such inquiry will
be held at the Native Land Court House, Hastings, on the
28th day of March, 1895, at 10 a.m.

kakaho, Hawke's Bay, a person claiming to have
leased from certain of the Native owners shares or interests
in the Ngatarawa No. 2 Block, and to have been prior to the
date of the passing of “ The Native Land Court Act, 1894,”
in negotiation for the lease of certain other shares or in-
terests therein, has notified such claim to the Chief Judge
of the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown
Lands for the Napier District, and has requested that an
inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held as pro-
vided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief
Judge has referred the said claim to Herbert Frank Edger,
Esq., a Judge of the Native Land Court, for inquiry as afore-
said: I hereby give notice that such inquiry will be held
at the Native Land Court House, Hastings, on the 28th day
of March, 1895, at 10 a.m.

WHEREAS the Rev. Arthur Towgood, of Marton, clerk
in holy orders, William Henry Tylce, of Napier,
Hawke's Bay, bank accountant, and Joseph Bernard Cham-
bers, of Te Mata, Hawke's Bay, sheep-farmer, persons claim-
ing to have leased from certain of the Native owners shares
or interests in the Arapawanui Block, and to have been prior
to the date of the passing of “ The Native Land Court Act,
1894,” in negotiation for the lease of all the other shares or
interests therein, have notified such claim to the Chief Judge
of the Native Land Court, and to the Commissioner of
Crown Lands for the Napier District, and have requested
that an inquiry into the circumstances thereof may be held
as provided by section 118 of the said Act: And whereas
the Chief Judge has referred the said claim to Herbert
Frank Edger, Esq., a Judge of the Native Land Court,
for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that such
inquiry will be held at the Native Land Court House,
Hastings, on the 28th day of March, 1895, at 10 a.m.

John Stuart, both of Tutira, Hawke's Bay, persons
claiming to have leased one-half of the shares or interests of
the Native owners in part of the Tutira Block, and to have
been prior to the date of the passing of “ The Native Land
Court Act, 1894,” in negotiation for the lease of all the other
shares or interests therein, have notified such claim to the
Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, and to the Com-
missioner of Crown Lands for the Napier District, and have
requested that an inquiry into the circumstances thereof
may be held as provided by section 118 of the said Act:
And whereas the Chief Judge has referred the said claim to
Herbert Frank Edger, Esq., a Judge of the Native Land
Court, for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give notice that
such inquiry will be held at the Native Land Court House,
Hastings, on the 28th day of March, 1895, at 10 a.m.

a person claiming to have purchased from certain
of the Native owners shares or interests in the Pekapeka
No. 1 Block, and to have been prior to the date of the pass-
ing of “ The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” in negotiation
for the purchase of certain other shares or interests therein,
has notified such claim to the Chief Judge of the Native
Land Court, and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for
the Napier District, and has requested that an inquiry into
the circumstances thereof may be held as provided by sec-
tion 118 of the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge has
referred the said claim to Herbert Frank Edger, Esq., a
Judge of the Native Land Court, for inquiry as aforesaid:
I hereby give notice that such inquiry will be held at the
Native Land Court House, Hastings, on the 28th day of
March, 1895, at 10 a.m.

District, and has requested that an inquiry into the circum-
stances thereof may be held as provided by section 118 of
the said Act: And whereas the Chief Judge has referred the
said claim to Herbert Frank Edger, Esq., a Judge of the
Native Land Court, for inquiry as aforesaid: I hereby give
notice that such inquiry will be held at the Native Land
