Clerks of Awards appointed, and their Offices located.

Office of the Minister of Labour,
Wellington, 7th January, 1895.

FOR the purposes of "The Industrial Conciliation and
Arbitration Act, 1894," His Excellency the Governor
has been pleased to appoint the persons mentioned in the
first column of the Schedule hereto (being Deputy Regis-
trars of the Supreme Court of New Zealand) to be Clerks of
Awards in and for the respective industrial districts set
opposite their names in the second column thereof, and
also to declare that in such industrial district the Clerk's
office shall be in the Supreme Court Office in the town set
opposite such industrial district in the third column of the
said Schedule.

Officers under "The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884," Otago District, appointed.

IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred by section 9 of "The
Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,"

JOHN MENZIES, of Beaumont,
JOHN FREDERICK IRVINE, of Kelso,
JOHN ELLIOT, of Middlemarch,
DAVID CRAWFORD, of Middlemarch,
JOHN ROBERTS, of Dunedin,
ALEX. C. BEGG, of Dunedin,
ANDREW M. LOASBY, of Dunedin, and
LAWRENCE DOOLEY, of Milton,

have been appointed officers for the purposes of that Act
within all that area within the Provincial District of Otago
bounded on the east and south by the ocean, from Shag
Point to the mouth of the Mataura River; on the north-west
by Lake County; on the west and south-west by the Mataura
River; and on the north, north-west, and north-east by the
Counties of Westland and Waitaki.

JOSEPH SHEPHERD, of Ohau,

has been appointed an officer for the purposes of that Act
within the Counties of Hutt, Horowhenua, Wairarapa North,
Wairarapa South, Pahiatua, Oruwa, and Manawatu, and
within all the town districts and boroughs situated within
the said counties.

IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred by section 9 of "The
Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,"

THOMAS BENN, of Cheviot,

has been appointed an officer for the purposes of that Act
for that part of the Provincial District of Canterbury to the
north of and including the Rakaia River, and for the
Counties of Amuri, Cheviot, and Kaikoura, and for the
waters of the Clarence River which are within the County
of Marlborough.
