DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
existing between EGBERT FEIST and ALFRED HAR-
ROWBY, trading together as Storekeepers at the Hutt, in the
Provincial District of Wellington, under the style or firm of
"Feist and Harrowby," has this day been dissolved by
mutual consent.

All debts due to or owing by the said late firm will be
received and paid by the said Egbert Feist, who will con-
tinue the business in his own name and on his own account.

COUNTY OF CLUTHA.

"The Public Works Act, 1882," and amendments thereof.

WHEREAS the Clutha County Council propose to
construct a road through Section 17, Block IX.,
Sections 24 and 6422, Block VIII., Glenomaru Survey Dis-
trict, and for that purpose to take under the said "Public
Works Act, 1882," all those parcels of land described in
the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, notice is hereby given that a plan showing
the proposed road and the land to be taken is now deposited
and open for inspection at the Clutha County Offices, Bal-
clutha, and all persons affected by the proposed road or by
the proposed taking of the said land are hereby called upon
to set forth in writing any objections to the execution of
such works or to the taking of such lands, and to lodge such
notice at the Clutha County Offices within forty days from
this date, 1st November, 1894.

SCHEDULE.

Portion of Section 17, Block IX., and Section 24, Block
VIII., Glenomaru Survey District, containing 2 acres 1
rood 17 perches; portion of Section 642B, being part of a
closed road, Block VIII., Glenomaru Survey District, con-
taining 1 rood 27 perches.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for
the first insertion and 3d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before three o'clock of the day
preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders
should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed "Pub-
lic a/c," and exchange added.

Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are
issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be
returned with receipted account.
