Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Patent Office,
Wellington, 7th November, 1894.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-men-
tioned applications for Letters Patent have been ac-
cepted, and are open to public inspection at this office.
Any person may, at any time within two months from the
date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing, in duplicate,
of opposition to the grant of any such patent, stating in
such notice the particular grounds of his objection. A fee
of 10s. is payable with such notice:—

No. 6606.—9th January, 1894.—JAMES HENRY BOUNDY, of
Blenheim, New Zealand, Printer. An invention for a self-
registering electric machine for automatically recording the
number of votes polled for each candidate either for par-
liamentary, municipal, or other elections for public or private
institutions. (Specification, 4s.; drawings, 10s.)*

No. 6638.—25th January, 1894.—JOHN GREENSLADE, of
Prebbleton, Canterbury, New Zealand, Engineer. An inven-
tion for improvements in combined grain and clover-seed
threshing, shelling, and dressing machines. (Specification,
12s.; drawings, 15s.)*

No. 6667.—10th February, 1894.—WILLIAM ANDREWS and
ARTHUR WARD BEAVEN, of Christchurch, New Zealand,
Agricultural Engineers. An invention for improvements in
seed-cleaning machines. (Specification, 6s.; drawings, 5s.)*

No. 6744.—31st March, 1894.—JOHN MIDDLETON, of St.
Albans, Canterbury, New Zealand, Engine-driver. An in-
vention for an automatic tallying apparatus attached to a
double-bagger chaffcutter. (Specification, 6s.; drawings,

No. 6884.—30th May, 1894.—ALFRED LIARDET MACDONALD,
of Brunswick, Wanganui, New Zealand, Farmer. An inven-
tion for “The Stud Earmark.” (Specification, 3s. 6d.;

No. 7215.—16th October, 1894.—ALFRED LAUNCELOT
JAMES TAIT, of Alexandra Street, Dunedin, New Zealand,
Masseur, Medical and Mechanical Electrician. An inven-
tion for an apparatus for separating butter-fat from milk by
churning entitled “The Albert Churn.” (Specification, 4s.;
drawings, 5s.)

Wanganui, New Zealand, Coachbuilder and Engineer. An invention entitled “Armstrong’s Boiler-tube Cleaner.” (Specification, 2s.; drawings, 5s.)

No. 7227.—25th October, 1894.—MATTHEW BELK, of
Palmerston North, New Zealand, Engineer. An invention
for an improved brake for road vehicles in which shafts or

No. 7229.—22nd October, 1894.—JOHN RAMSEY WEBSTER,
of Summerhill, Cust, Canterbury, New Zealand, Farmer. An invention for an improved skim-coulter for ploughs. (Specification, 2s.; drawings, 3s.)

No. 7230.—23rd October, 1894.—MOSES SMITH, of South-
brook, Canterbury, New Zealand, Engineer. An invention
for an improved pulverising attachment to ploughs. (Specifi-
