were made by Order in Council dated the tenth day of
January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of
the same month:
And whereas it is desirable that the minimum weight at
which blue rock-cod may be taken, bought, sold, exposed for
sale, or had in possession should be fixed at eight ounces:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred upon him by the said Act, and by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby make the following regulations, and,
with the like advice and consent, doth order and declare
that these regulations shall have force and effect through-
out the Colony of New Zealand, and in all waters in the
colony:—
REGULATIONS.

No person shall take, buy, sell, expose for sale, or have
in possession any blue or red cod, or rock-cod (Percis colias
or Lotella bacchus) of a less weight than eight ounces. -
Any person committing a breach of the above regulation
shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding fifty pounds, to be
recovered as by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” is
provided.

Amended Regulations for Trout-fishing in the Inangahua
Acclimatisation District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third
day of October, 1894.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” His Ex-
cellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby make the following regula-
tions for the County of Inangahua and the waters thereof ;
and doth hereby declare that these regulations shall, as from
the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand
Gazette, supersede regulations numbers 1 (one) and 2 (two),
made by Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of
October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 82, of the fifteenth
day of October in the same year.
REGULATIONS.

LICENSES to fish for trout in all the waters of the County
of Inangahua shall be issued under the hand of the Secretary
of the Inangahua Acclimatisation Society (hereinafter termed
“the said society”), at Reefton, and for every such license a
fee of ten shillings will be charged: Provided that it shall not
be obligatory upon the Secretary of the said society to issue
a license: Provided further that it shall be lawful for the
said Secretary to issue licenses for the whole season to ladies
for the sum of five shillings each; and to boys under the
age of sixteen years for the sum of seven shillings and
sixpence each; and to men, on and after the twentieth day
of December in any year, for the sum of seven shillings and
sixpence each. -
Licenses, when issued as aforesaid for the whole season,
shall entitle the person named therein to fish for trout in any
of the said waters from the first day of October in any one
year to the thirty-first day of March in the following year,
inclusive; but no such license shall confer any right of entry
upon the land of any person without his consent.

Lumsden Recreation-ground brought under “The Public
Domains Act, 1881.”
GLASGOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
third day of October, 1894.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of “The Public Reserves
Act, 1881,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby order
and declare that the reserve made for public recreation in
the Southland Land District, and known as the Lumsden
Recreation-ground, and described in the Schedule hereto,
shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation
of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The
Public Domains Act, 1881,” and such domain shall here-
after be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner
directed by the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Southland Land District,
containing by admeasurement 19 acres 1 rood 4 perches,
more or less, being Sections Nos. 1 to 6, inclusive, Block
XXIII., Town of Lumsden. Bounded on the north-west by
Albion Street, 1287·6 links; on the north-east by Iona
Street, 1543 links; on the south-east by Marion Street and
Section No. 7, Block XIX., 1720·65 links; and on the west
by Pomona Terrace, 476·9 links, 559·3 links, and 803 links
respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as
the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of
the Chief Surveyor, Invercargill.

Powers delegated to the Lumsden Domain Board under
“The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third
day of October, 1894.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the twelfth section of “The Public
Domains Act, 1881,” it is, inter alia, enacted that
the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time
delegate all or any of the powers by the said Act conferred,
save as is therein mentioned, to any person or persons, for
any period, and subject to such stipulations as may be
specified in such Order, and that every such delegation may
from time to time in like manner be altered or revoked:
And whereas, pursuant to “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,”
by an Order in Council of even date herewith, the land
described in the Schedule thereto is declared to be brought
under the operation of and to be subject to the provisions
of the said “Public Domains Act, 1881”:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the Colony of New Zealand, doth by this present Order dele-
gate all the powers conferred by the Act first above men-
tioned, except the powers under or conferred by sections
five and twelve, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall
be known as the Lumsden Domain Board, namely,—
ARCHIBALD MCALISTER,
ROBERT BROWN,
MICHAEL MALEY,
ANDREW SMALL, and
WILLIAM PURDUE
(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipu-
lations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the third Thursday in each month, at half-past seven o'clock
p.m., at Lumsden, or at such other time or place as may
from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting
shall be held on Thursday, the twenty-second day of Novem-
ber, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the third
Thursday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in
the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a cast-
ing vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election
of his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the
members may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
