THE PRIDE OF KARAKA GOLD-MINING COMPANY
(LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

At an extraordinary general meeting of the Pride of
KarakA Gold-mining Company (Limited), duly con-
vened, and held at the company's office, New Zealand In-
surance Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on Thursday,
26th July, 1894, the subjoined special resolution was duly
passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting
of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the
same place on Friday, 10th August, 1894, the subjoined reso-
lution was duly confirmed, viz.: "That the Pride of Karaka
Gold-mining Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily
under the provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882,' and its
amendments." And at such last meeting HENRY GILFILLAN
the younger, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the
purposes of winding-up.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between THOMAS HARVEY JAMES and
FREDERICK WILLIAM HEAPS as Architects, at Palmerston
North and Feilding, under the style of "James and Heaps,"
was this day dissolved by mutual consent. The said
Thomas Harvey James will henceforth carry on business at
Feilding under the style of "James and Heaps."

SOUTHLAND COUNTY.
VALUATION OF RATEABLE PROPERTY.

IT is hereby notified that the Southland County Council,
in accordance with the provisions of "The Rating Acts
Amendment Act, 1893," determine that the provisions of
"The Rating Act, 1882," shall be henceforth in force in the
County of Southland, and that the assessment of all rateable
property in the county shall be made as provided by the said
Act and the amendment of 1893, such assessment to be on
the capital value of the rateable property, and that the
valuation shall be made triennially.

FAIRFAX DAIRY FACTORY COMPANY (LIMITED),
(IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the shareholders of the Fairfax Dairy
Factory Company (Limited), duly convened, and held at
Fairfax, in the County of Wallace, on the 15th day of
August, 1894, the special resolutions passed on the 25th day
of July, 1894, were duly confirmed, viz.:—
RESOLUTIONS.

  1. "That the Fairfax Dairy Factory Company (Limited)
    be wound up voluntarily."
  2. "That John Lyon McDonald, of Invercargill, be ap-
    pointed Liquidator, and his remuneration be £25 and
    disbursements, including commission on sale of cheese."
