Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Patent Office,
Wellington, 2nd August, 1894.
COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-men-
tioned applications for Letters Patent have been ac-
cepted, and are open to public inspection at this office.
Any person may, at any time within two months from the
date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing, in duplicate,
of opposition to the grant of any such patent, stating in
such notice the particular grounds of his objection. A fee
of 10s. is payable with such notice :—

No. 6955.—13th July, 1894.—JAMES MODERATE, of Cust,
Canterbury, New Zealand, Labourer. An invention for im-
provements in apparatus for pressing wool into bales, and for
other similar purposes. (Specification, 10s.; drawings, 10s.)

No. 6974.—18th July, 1894.—ALEXANDER GRAY, of Mount
Street, Canterbury, New South Wales, Horse-trainer. An
invention for an improved apparatus to be used for starting

the Scarborough Brewery Company, Westborough, Brewer

Peasholme House, Mechanical Engineer, all of Scarborough,
England. An invention for improved apparatus for separat-
ing grease and other impurities from exhaust steam, and
also for supplying heated and purified feed-water for the

any substance containing it, and entitled "The Universal
