All debts due to and owing by the firm will be received and paid by the said Benjamin Saville, whose receipt for moneys owing to the late firm will be a sufficient discharge. The

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882"; and in the matter of the Mount Egmont Freezing Company (Limited), in voluntary liquidation.

I, THOMAS JAMES, late of Waitara, in the Provincial District of Taranaki, but now of the City of Auckland, Accountant, the Liquidator of the Mount Egmont Freezing Company (Limited), in voluntary liquidation, hereby call a general meeting of the company, to be held on Friday, the 14th day of September, 1894, at the hour of 5 o'clock in the afternoon, at the office of Mr. Henry Symons, Gore Street, in the City of Auckland, to consider and deal with the following business:—

  1. To receive the Liquidator's final statement of the account of the winding-up of the company and of the realisation and disposal of the property of the company, and to hear any explanations that may be desired from the Liquidator relative thereto.

  2. To pass an extraordinary resolution directing the disposal of the custody of the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator.

  3. To consider the question of allowing additional remuneration to the Liquidator.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," the various Acts amending the said Act; and in the matter of the Balclutha Gas Company (Limited).

TAKE notice that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 6th day of July, 1894, presented to Mr. Justice Williams, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by Adam Paterson, James Barr, John Scott, and Robert Scott, creditors of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court, sitting at the Supreme Court, Dunedin, on the 20th day of July, 1894, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
