50°·9; mean humidity, 75. Slight earthquake on 9th at
12.52 p.m.

Proposed Exhibition of New Light at Madras.
With reference to Notice to Mariners No. 32, dated 16th
June, 1893, it is now notified that the new light at Madras
will be exhibited on and after 1st June, 1894.

an Intestate Estate.

provisions of section 8 of "The Public Trust Office
Acts Amendment Act, 1893," the Public Trustee, having
elected to administer the property of the following person,
who, so far as is known, has died intestate within the
Colony of New Zealand, did file his election in writing at
the Supreme Court Office, at the place stated after the name
of such deceased person:—

"The Land Act, 1892," that the runs hereunder
enumerated will be declared forfeited if the amount of rent
due, together with the penalty, be not paid to the Receiver
of Land Revenue for the district within three months from
the date of insertion of this notice.
