Special Order made by the Kumara Borough Council, adopting the Local Bodies' Loans Acts.

THE following special order, made by the Kumara Borough Council, is published for general information.

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Kumara Borough Council on the 6th July, 1891, and confirmed on the 6th August, 1891.

THAT this Council do now adopt by special order the provisions generally of "The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and also, that this Council do now adopt by special order the provisions generally of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886."

The above special order was duly published in the local newspaper, the Kumara Times, but, through an inadvertence, does not appear to have been published in the Government Gazette, and I hereby certify that the above resolutions are a correct copy of the minutes recorded on the above dates in the minute-book of the Kumara Borough Council.

THE following notice, received from the Clerk of the Waitaki County Council, is published in accordance with section 2 of "The Rating Acts Amendment Act, 1893."

WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION, That, under the provisions of subsection (6) of section 2 of "The Rating Acts Amendment Act, 1893," the local authority called the Waitaki County Council hereby determine that "The Rating Act, 1882," shall be in force within the County of Waitaki.

I certify the above to be a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of Council held on the 25th day of May, 1893.

DUNGENESS, CAIRNS HARBOUR, BARRON RIVER, MULGRAVE RIVER, LARK PASS.β€”BUOYS AND BEACONS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the two outer black buoys and all the beacons at Dungeness, Port Hinchinbrook, are out of position;

That the heads of the beacons marking the cutting across the Cairns Bar are down;

That the beacons on the bars of the Barron and Mulgrave Rivers are down;

That the outer beacon marking the Lark Pass, Barrier Reef, is down, and that the sandbank which formerly marked the reef has disappeared.
