visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same within one month after the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

a provisional certificate of title in the name of OWEN
CARLIN PLEASANTS, of Feilding, Farmer, for Lot 2
of Subdivision of Section 19 of original Subdivision G,
Manchester Block, deposited in the Lands Registry Office,

folio 186, and evidence having been lodged as to the loss of
the original certificate, I give notice that I will issue the
certificate as requested unless caveat be lodged forbidding

Private Advertisements.

In the matter of “The District Railways Act, 1877,” and of
the Hutt Park Railway.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 30th day of Decem-
ber, 1893, the Hutt Park Railway Company (Limited)
caused copies of a plan and book of reference, setting forth
and describing the middle line and direction of a deviation
(from a point on the Esplanade Road at Petone, which point
is on the production of the eastern boundary-line of Sec-
tion 8, Hutt District, to a point a short distance west of the
production of the western boundary-line of Lot 1 of the
subdivision of Section 2, Hutt District, where the above-
named railway joins the present Government railway-line)
proposed to be made by such company of and in the above-
mentioned railway, showing the lands required to be taken
for and in connection with such deviation, and the names of
the owners and occupiers of such lands, as far as they can
be ascertained, to be deposited in the public office of the
Petone Borough Council, situate in the Borough of Petone,
and in the public office, situate Lambton Quay, in the City
of Wellington, of the Council of the County of Hutt.

“FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT, 1882.”—CANCELLING
OF REGISTRY.

Friendly Societies' Registry Office,
Wellington, 10th January, 1894.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 10 of “The Friendly
Societies Act, 1882,” by writing under his hand dated this
10th day of January, 1894, cancelled the registry of the
Star of Petone Lodge, at Petone, Register No. 197 (15),
branch of the Protestant Alliance Friendly Society of Aus-
tralasia, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to
exist.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between us, the under-
signed Robert Gilmour and Albert Fitzherbert
Foote, carrying on business under the style of “Gilmour
and Foote,” at Fitzroy, in the Provincial District of Tara-
naki, as General Storekeepers, has been dissolved from this
date. All debts owing by the said firm will be paid by
Robert Gilmour, who will continue the business and collect
moneys owing to the firm.

Surgery of the University of Edinburgh, now residing
in Roslyn, hereby give notice that it is my intention to
apply to you on the 7th February, 1894, to have my name
placed on the Medical Register of New Zealand, and that I
have deposited my evidence of qualification for public in-
spection with the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages
at Dunedin.
