NOTE.—Showery beginning of month and strong S.E. wind; then fine from 4th up to 20th, with slight rain at intervals and moderate winds, chiefly N.W.; from 21st to end of month very showery and unsettled, and strong N.W. winds up to 25th. The maximum rainfall recorded on 2nd, ·40in.; total fall below the average. Thunder on 25th. Hail on 9th. Prevailing N.W. winds. Maximum temperature in shade 71°·5, minimum 39°; mean temperature of dew-point, 45°·3; mean humidity, 66. Earthquakes on 2nd, at 1.40 a.m., sharp and long, and at 3.27 a.m., slight. Brilliant meteor on 29th, at 7.30 p.m., travelling S. to N.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Tologa Bay, on the 18th day of June, 1894, to hear and determine the several matters in respect of which applications have been received by the Registrar, and all such other matters as may be lawfully brought before it.
