NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STRAIGHTENING AND WIDENING BROUGHTON STREET AND BROUGHTON STREET EXTENSION, IN THE BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of New Plymouth proposes, under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1882," to execute certain public works, to wit, the straightening and widening of Broughton Street and Broughton Street Extension, within the Borough of New Plymouth, and for the purpose of such public works to take, under the provisions of the said Act, the lands mentioned in the schedule hereto. And notice is further given that plans of the said works and of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the said borough, situate in Broughton Street, in the said borough, and are there open for public inspection. And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Borough Council, at the said office.
