Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Patent Office,

Wellington, 12th April, 1894.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-mentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing, in duplicate, of opposition to the grant of any such patent, stating in such notice the particular grounds of his objection. A fee of 10s. is payable with such notice:—

No. 6282.—10th July, 1893.—DAVID HARTLEY, of Masterton, New Zealand, Veterinary Surgeon. An invention for adjusting the weight in dogcarts on hills or inclines. (Specification, 3s. 6d.; drawings, 3s.)*

No. 6294.—15th July, 1893.—ISAAC SHONE, of Great George Street Chambers, Parliament Square, Westminster, England, Civil Engineer. An invention for improvements in and connected with draining and sewerage towns, villages, districts, and other places. (Specification, £2 7s.; drawings, £12.)*

No. 6301.—19th July, 1893.—EDWARD THUNDERBOLT, of Drummond Street, Carlton, Victoria, Engineer. An invention for an automatic quick-acting governor for controlling the supply of actuating fluids to motors. (Specification, £1 2s.; drawings, £1.)*

No. 6716.—13th March, 1894.—EDWARD JOSIAH TOBIN, of 254, George Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Merchant (Assignee of Frank George Bement, of 166, Paddington Street, Sydney, aforesaid, Photo and Process Engraver). An invention for improved actinic prints and improved method of producing same. (Specification, 6s.)

No. 6738.—30th March, 1894.—ROBERT COCKERELL, of Dunedin, New Zealand, Blacksmith. An invention for an improvement in horse-shoes, to be known as “R. Cockerell’s Improved Replaceable Concussionless Heels and Toes for Horse-shoes.” (Specification, 2s. 6d.; drawings, 3s.)

No. 6748.—4th April, 1894.—CHARLES EDGAR CHAPMAN, Agent, and THOMAS FENTON WHITFORD, Mining Engineer, both of Adelaide, South Australia. An invention for improvements in and connected with the recovery of metals from their ores. (Specification, 11s.; drawings, 15s.)
