NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, OPUNAKE, at 9 o'clock a.m. on WEDNESDAY, the 18th APRIL, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to ALEXANDER McHARDY, of Section 73, Block IX., OPUNAKE, containing 145 acres 3 roods 10 perches (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 843.

TO Wiremu Kingi Metakatea, Tautahi Tuwha-
hipa, Tapuorongo, Ngamare, Toto, Te Ma-
nunui, Ngaripeka, Terereiao, Koi, Te Rangi,
Wiki, Tura, Rangi Paia, Te Moko, Kura Mahiao,
Ripo, Te Aomoko, Iwi-tuwhaipa, Manuia Pukerua,
Arapata, Reihia, Ngakiekei (Te Pokai, Heruini
Ruaroa, and Wikitoria Ngamare, trustees), Piki,
Hana, Puketorore, Kari, Ratana, Kahui Kara-
rehe, Rongotuhia, Manututokiri, Karira Kau-
wau Urupa, Koraraiti Taurua, and the other Na-
tive owners of all that piece of land situate in
the Opunake Survey District, being Section 73,
Block IX., and containing by admeasurement
145 acres 3 roods 10 perches (more or less), being
land comprised in memorandum of lease regis-
tered No. 843, to Alexander McHardy, of Auck-
land, clerk, lessee:

Whereas the above-named Alexander McHardy
has given notice to me, under the provisions
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement
Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to ob-
tain under that section a new lease of the land
above described; and I consider his application
ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do
hereby appoint a meeting to take place between
the said Alexander McHardy and all the Na-
tive owners of the above-described land, for the
purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twenty-one years of the new
lease, and I fix the Courthouse, Opunake, as the
place where, and Wednesday, the 18th day of
April, 1894, at 9 o'clock in the forenoon, as the
time, when such meeting shall take place.

Whereas the above-named David Leahy has
given notice to me, under the provisions of

serves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land
above described; and I consider his applica-
tion ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore,
I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place
between the said David Leahy and all the
Native owners of the above-described land,
for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for
the said land for the first twenty-one years of
the new lease; and I fix the Court-
house, Opunake, as the place where, and Wed-
nesday, the 18th day of April, 1894, at 11 o'clock
in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting
shall take place.

has given notice to me, under the provisions
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement
Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain
under that section a new lease of the land
above described; and I consider his application
ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do
hereby appoint a meeting to take place between
the said Frederick Wilson and all the Native owners
of the above-described land, for the purpose
of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land
for the first twenty-one years of the new lease;
and I fix the Courthouse, Waverley, as the place
where, and Saturday, the 14th day of April, 1894,
at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when,
such meeting shall take place.
