Small Grazing-run open for Application.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 5th February, 1894.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned small
grazing-run will be open for lease, on application at
this office, on and after Wednesday, the 4th day of April,
1894.

Whakatane County.—Parish of Matata.

Small Grazing-run No. 10, containing 18,960 acres. An-
nual rent, £118 10s.

Situated about four miles from Matata Township, and
comprising open and bush land, broken, and of inferior
quality.

Plans and further particulars may be obtained on applica-
tion at this office and at the District Office, Tauranga.

Te Kiato, Part of Okirae Block.

Native Land Court,
Wellington, 27th March, 1894.

WHEREAS through an error of the Court the land
known as Te Kiato, containing 125 acres, has been
included in the memorial of ownership for the Okirae Block:
And whereas by an Order in Council dated the 10th day
of April, 1893, the following questions were brought within
the jurisdiction of the Native Land Court, that is to say,—

  1. Who are the persons who would, but for the issue of
    the said memorial of ownership for the whole block called
    Okirae, containing 3,250 acres, and the subsequent dealings
    therewith, now be entitled, according to Native custom, to
    the said piece of land known as Te Kiato, containing
    125 acres, more or less, if the same were now Native land
    the title to which was unascertained, and was the subject of
    an application to the said Native Land Court for investi-
    gation of the title thereto?
  2. In what proportionate shares would such persons in
    such case be respectively entitled in the said piece of land?
    Now notice is hereby given that the matters hereinbefore
    recited will be inquired into at the sitting of the Native
    Land Court to be held at Whanganui on the 11th day of
    April, 1894.
