Council, is published in aecordance with the pro-
visions of " The Counties Act, 1886. "

Copy of a Special Order passed at a M eeting of the Clifton
C ounty Council on the 6th March, 1894.

THAT the following special order, under section 49 of " The
Counties Act, 1886," be passed for the purpose of rectifying
a misdescription of the east ern bounda ry of the Urenui
Riding :—

Urenui Eiding (Amended Description).

All that area of the County of Clifton included in the
fol lowing bounda ries: Commencing at the mouth of the
M imi River, and thence by the centre of the said river to a
point opposite the north-west corner of Section 1, Block I.,
Upper Waitara Survcy District; thence in a southerly
direction by the block-line between B1oek s I., Uppcr Wai-
tara, and IY., Waitara, Survcy Districts, to the Urenui
River; thence by a continu ation of the said block-line to a
trig. station marked F on the public maps; thence by a line
runn ing south-east at a bear ing of 129 degrees true to the
N gatim aru Eiding; thence by the said N gatim aru Eiding
ina south-west direction to the Taramoukei trig.; thence
by the north-western bounda ry of the N gatim aru Eiding to
the north-eastern corner of Section 12, Block XV., Waitara
Surv ey District; thence in a northerly direction by the
eastern bounda ries of the T ikor angi and Wai-hi Eidings to
the sea; thence by the sea to starting -point at the M imi
River.
