Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Patent Office,
Wellington, 1st March, 1894.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the under-men-
tioned applications for Letters Patent have been ac-
cepted, and are open to public inspection at this office.
Any person may, at any time within two months from the
date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing, in duplicate,
of opposition to the grant of any such patent, stating the
particular grounds of his objection. A fee of 10s. is payable
with such notice:—

No. 6417.—12th September, 1893.—John Russell, of
Christchurch, New Zealand, Cooper. An invention for a
chiming- and -crozing machine. (Specification, 10s. 6d.;

No. 6494.—21st October, 1893.—John Storer, of Sydney,
New South Wales, Consulting Chemist, and Benjamin
Thomas Lacy, of San Francisco, California, United States
of America, Mining Engineer. An invention for an improved

tion for a new or improved adjustable skeith-centre for

bell, of Papanui, Canterbury, New Zealand, Gentleman.
An invention for improvements in the method of hanging
and fastening gates for drafting-yards, woolsheds, and other

No. 6683.—20th February, 1894.—John Belk, of Feilding,
New Zealand, Engineer, and William Reeve Haselden, of
Wellington, New Zealand, Solicitor. An invention entitled
"Belk's Grooved Railway-joint," being a new and improved
method of joining railway-rails. (Specification, 4s. 6d.;
