NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEES of a
MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE,
WAVERLEY, at 9 o'clock a.m., on TUESDAY, the
20th MARCH, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW
LEASE to HARRIETT HENRIETTA VAUGHAN
FRERE of parts Sections 417 and 418, OKOTUKU
1 DISTRICT, containing 172 Acres and 27 Perches
(more or less), being part of the Land com-
prised in confirmed Leases Nos. 18 and 19.

TO Hakopa te Puku, Te Peina Rangihiakaia,
Kereopa te Waihoru, Riawai Marutuhuna,
Waitoto Riakiau, Puakotiri, Rauangi, Ruru, Ari-
hia, Piere, Te Rauangi, Te Rangianiwiwa,

rauatea (trustee, Ketu Hone Pihama), and the
other Native owners of all that piece of land
situate in the County of Patea, being portion of
the Okotuku Block, and containing by ad-
measurement 172 acres and 27 perches (more or
less), being part of the land comprised in Con-
firmed Lea-es Nos. 18 and 19, and to Harriett
Henrietta Vaughan Frere, of Waverley, trans-
feree.

Whereas the above-named Harriett Henrietta
Vaughan Frere has given notice to me, under the
provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast
Settlement Reserves Act, 1892," that she desires
to obtain under that section a new lease of the
land above described; and I consider her appli-
cation ought to be given effect to: Now, there-
fore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place
between the said Harriett Henrietta Vaughan
Frere and all the Native owners of the above-
described land, for the purpose of fixing the
rent to be paid for the said land for the first
twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the
Courthouse, Waverley, as the place where, and
Tuesday, the 20th day of March, 1894, at 9 o'clock
in the forenoon, as the time, when such meet-
ing shall take place.

Reserve, known as "Koromatuaru," and con-
taining by admeasurement 509 acres (more or
less), being the land comprised in confirmed lease
No. 3, and to Gilbert Wilson and Walter Wilson,
of Hawera, lessees.

Whereas the above-named Gilbert Wilson and
Walter Wilson have given notice to me, under
the provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast
Settlement Reserves Act, 1892," that they desire
to obtain under that section a new lease of the
land above described; and I consider their appli-
cation ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore,
I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place
between the said Gilbert Wilson and Walter
Wilson and all the Native owners of the above-
described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent
to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-
one years of the new lease, and I fix the Court-
house, Hawera, as the place where, and Thurs-
day, the 22nd day of March, 1894, at 2 o'clock in
the afternoon, as the time, when such meeting
shall take place.

VERLEY, at 2 o'clock p.m. on TUESDAY, 20th
MARCH, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE
of part Section 218 and Section 361, Block VI.,
WAIROA, and known as the OIKA RESERVE, to
ALBERT SYMES, of WAYERLEY, containing 256
acres and 2 roods (more or less), being Land
comprised in Confirmed Lease No. 17.

TO Wiremu Ngapaki, Hakopa Raumate, To-
gamini, Te Ngarutahi, Pukehika, Rangi-
taumua, Ngaropo Taurua, Tauria, Whanau,
Rukete, Ngaraungi, Marino, Hoani, Tainakore,
Raukura, Waitohu Raumati, Ngakawe, Tehinga,
Metiria, Mere Pounamu, Kamuai, Tuhinengaro,
Mere, Materoa, Nganeko, Te Purei, Te Uruma-
aao, Tipoka, Rangiwhakarongona, Te Rauta-
papa, and the other Native owners of all that
piece of land situate in the County of Patea,
being part Section 218 and Section 361, Block VI.,
Wairoa, and known as the Oika Reserve, and
containing by admeasurement 256 acres and 2
roods (more or less), being the land comprised in
confirmed lease No. 17, and to Albert Symes,
of Waverley, transferee.

Whereas the above-named Albert Symes has
given notice to me, under the provisions of
section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Re-
serves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under
that section a new lease of the land above de-
scribed; and I consider his application ought to
be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby
appoint a meeting to take place between the
said Albert Symes and all the Native owners
of the above-described land for the purpose
of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land
for the first twenty-one years of the new lease,
and I fix the Courthouse, Waverley, as the place
where, and Tuesday, the 20th day of March, 1894,
at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, as the time, when
such meeting shall take place.
