NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEES of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, OPUNAKE, at 2 o'clock p.m. on WEDNESDAY, the 10th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to DANIEL O'SULLIVAN of Section No. 29, Block X., Opunake, containing in all 20 acres (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 493.

TO Ihaka Ngakirikiri, Akinithi Himiona, Pikete Eruini Kawakawa, Waiara Eruini Kawa-kawa (Eruini Kawakawa, trustee), Matiu Whare-matangi, Rangimoekai, Pau te Wahenga, Pohutu (Mata Hineotinga and Rua Ngakau, trustees for Rangimoekai, Pau te Wahenga, and Pohutu), Tu-whakararo, Wiremu Hohia, Kuini Hohia, Ori-wia Hohia, Parete Teira, Pipi Teira, Mere Teira, Harata Tuwhakararo, Anihara Ruakau, Ngami-raka Rauwea, Marore Aitu, Marore, Ngamiraka, Te Awha Parai, Mohi Parai, Turia Warihi, Tare Warihi, Te Mira Wharepore, Hame Iwatai, Haka-raia Tangaika, Pakihere Eruini, Eruini Kawa-kawa (Rangiteanau), Komenga Rona, Ruhe Ha-kopa, Hona Rake, Te Kawau Rake, Ngeru Rake, Taraikamu, Kahukaraiti, Te Ataao Kahukaraiti, Ngamura Kahukaraiti, Mere te Rangikawarara, Rongo Maros, Ihaka te Manu (Rangiruru), Ihaka te Rou, Erana te Rauna, Hoeta te Whakaruru, Wharematangi, and the other Native owners of all those pieces of land situate in the Opunake Survey District, being Section No. 29, Block X., and containing by admeasurement in all 20 acres (more or less), being the land comprised in memo-randum of lease, registered No. 493, to Daniel O'Sullivan, of Wanganui, Gaoler, as lessee.

Whereas the above-named Daniel O'Sullivan has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Re-serves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above de-scribed ; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Daniel O'Sullivan and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fix-ing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Opunake, as the place where, and Wednesday, the 10th January, 1894, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEES of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, WAI-TARA, at 11 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, 18th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to CHRISTOPHER TOPLESS, of Section 32, Block VI., WAITARA SURVEY DISTRICT, containing 159 acres 2 roods 30 perches (more or less), being the Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 763.

TO Tuiti te Kahutopa, Teieti Werokino, Meri Ruakere, Arapere Hoeta, Eruera Pataru, Roone Paemanu, Kire Ngehe, Kawarau Ngairo, Tawhanga Pataru, Mame Kiri, Pitama Haruru, Te Iwi Maaka, Ngatururu, Ngatauawaru Rihara, Hami Manukino, Miri Tapaki, Hoani, Kataraia Kiri, Keremiuta, Hera Waikauri, Ruteru Haka-raia, Nekoria, Walter Ropuha Pareaone, and the other Native owners of all those pieces of land situate in the Waitara Survey District, being Section 32, Block VI., and containing by ad-measurement in all 159 acres 2 roods 30 perches (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandum of lease registered No. 763, to Christopher Topless, of Waihi-Waitara, farmer, transferee.

Whereas the above-named Christopher Topless has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Re-serves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above de-scribed ; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Christopher Topless and all the Native owners of the above-described land for the pur-pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said twenty-one years of the new lease, and I fix the Courthouse, Waitara, as the place where, and Thursday, the 18th day of January, 1894, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
