"THE WEST COAST SETTLEMENT RESERVES ACT, 1892."

NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, MANAIA, at 2 o'clock p.m. on MONDAY, the 8th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to FRANK STORIE RALSTON of Sections 66, 67, and 74, Block III., WAIMATE, containing 446 acres 2 roods 13 perches (more or less), being the Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 531.

TO Titokowaru, Komene, Tamatua, Pene, Ta-katua Kaumatua, Te Kepa, Te Manu, Nga-one. Toro, Ohia, Te Puhi, Tuhina, Pahau, Rangi, Te Kahu Pokoro, Mui (Ranginuia), Here, Whare-puka, Pokere, Torutoru, Taupaki, Te Rawhiti, Rahirunga, Takatua, Hura, Toha, Tutahione, Mangahau, Tiori, Te Unaihi, Topahi, Amiria (Ngapuatea), Te Hau (Paimaiwaho), Ngawairo-ngoа, Tango, Ngaraina, Ngawaihina, Wharea-whea, Te Noti (Tanginui), Rua tamaiti, Pari, Makawe, Kawakawa, Hinemanu, Uenuku, Nga-whango, Whariki, Ruahoata, Hineawhinga, Titi te Hoe, Ngarewa, Hira, Ngapaki, Titiu, Rawiri Hurewai, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land situate in the Waimate Survey District, being Sections 66, 67, and 74, Block III., and containing by admeasurement 446 acres 2 roods 13 perches (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandum of lease registered No. 531, to Frank Storie Ralston, of Manaia, settler, as transferee.

Whereas the above-named Frank Storie Ralston has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Frank Storie Ralston and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Manaia, as the place where, and Monday, the 8th day of January, 1894, at 2 o'clock o'clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, WAITARA, at 9 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, the 18th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to GEORGE VAREY TATE and GEORGE TATE, of parts of Sections 1 and 50, WAITARA WEST DISTRICT, PARITUTU SURVEY DISTRICT, 214 acres (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 954.

TO Tame Watene, Ngata Mahau, Roera Rangi, Karena Taituha, Haera Ngatanerua, Wi Karewa, Ihaka Nuitone, Henare Runanga, Neha te Mangara, Hakopa te Mangara, Karena Taituha, Te Rina Haera, Metiria Watene, Whakaawe Tare, Te Iti Retimana, Kahukare, Wiremu Hoeta, Ho- eta Whakaruru, Te Akarangi, Te Waero Karipa, and the other Native owners of all those pieces of land situate in the Waitara West District, Pa- ritutu Survey District, being parts of Sections 1 and 50, and containing by admeasurement in all 214 acres (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandum of lease registered No. 954, to George Varey Tate and George Tate, of Waitara, farmers, lessees.

Whereas the above-named George Varey Tate and George Tate have given notice to me under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that they desire to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider their application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said George Varey Tate and George Tate and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Waitara, as the place where, and Thursday, the 18th day of January, 1894, at 9 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, OPUNAKE, at 2 o'clock p.m. on WEDNESDAY, the 10th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to DANIEL O'SULLIVAN of Section No. 29, Block X., OPUNAKE, containing in all 20 acres (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 493.

Whereas the above-named Daniel O'Sullivan has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Daniel O'Sullivan and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Opunake, as the place where, and Wednesday, the 10th January, 1894, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

NOTICE to NATIVE OWNERS and LESSEE of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, WAI-TARA, at 11 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, 18th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the Rent for a NEW LEASE to CHRISTOPHER TOPLESS, of Section 32, Block VI., WAITARA SURVEY DISTRICT, containing 159 acres 2 roods 30 perches (more or less), being the Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 763.

TO Tuiti te Kahutopa, Teieti Werokino, Meri Ruakere, Arapere Hoeta, Eruera Patara, Reone Paemanu, Kire Ngehe, Kawarau Ngairo, Tawhanga Patara, Mame Kiri, Pitama Haruru, Te Iwi Maaka, Ngatururu, Ngatauewaru Rihara, Hami Manukino, Miri Tapaki, Hoani, Kataraina Kiri, Keremiуета, Hera Waikauri, Rutera Hakaraia, Nekoria, Walter Ropiha Paraone, and the other Native owners of all those pieces of land situate in the Waitara Survey District, being Section 32, Block VI., and containing by admeasurement in all 159 acres 2 roods 30 perches (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandum of lease registered No. 763, to Christopher Topless, of Waihi-Waitara, farmer, transferee.

Whereas the above-named Christopher Topless has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of “The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892,” that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Christopher Topless and all the Native owners of the above-described land for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said twenty-one years of the new lease, and I fix the Courthouse, Waitara, as the place where, and Thursday, the 18th day of January, 1894, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
