LOCAL RAGES—continued.
Betweon the Juntion and the Wellington Mino: Timbor, 2d. por 100 superficial
feet; coals and minerals, in 5 ton loada, 2d. per ton; other goods, 9d. per ton.
Minimun charge, 3d.
Gooda booked between atations upon the Waimangaros branch (including Wai-mangaros Juntion) will be charged at the clasaified rates.
Contractors' plant and permanent-woy material, in full truck loada, Westport to
Nga.kawan, will be charged 7s. per ton. Consignee to take delivery in the railway-trucks, and perform the unloading.
Class Q.
Road-metal conveved from Serjeant's Hill to Westport will be charged 1s. 6d. per
ton. Minimun quantity, 5 tono per truck.
NELSON SECTIOX.
NELSON STATION AND Port.
Gooda passing over the Railway Wharf, and paying wharfage, which are conveved
between Nolson Stotion and Port, will be charged at the rates for Port traffic.
Part III., weight or measurcment, according to bill of lading; other goods by
weight or measurcment, as the department directa.
CLasses C AND D.—GOOOS.
Gooda of Classes C and D will be charged as Class B.
Class H.
Class H, undumped, consigned from Belerove to Nolson or Port will be charged
1s. 9d. per bale.
Class K.—TIMBER.
Timbor consigned from Wakefield, Wai-iti, Foxhili, and Belerove to Nolson
or the Port will be charged 3d. per 100 superficial feet less than the clasified rates.
CLasses N AND P.
Gooda of Class P will be charged as Class N.
Cement, Port to Belerove, will be charged rate and a half, Class N.
Bark, native, rough, from Wai-iti or Wakefield to Nolson, will be charged at
the clasified rates for Class P. Minimun quantity, 6 tono per truck.
MIsCELLANEOUS.—Dipping sheop, minimum for 10 sheop, 10s.; each additional
sheop, 3d. Yording sheop, 1d. per head per day; minimum charge, 1s. Yording
cattle, 6d. per head per day; minimum charge, 2s.
PICTON SECTIOX.
Tallow, hides, and pelts consigned to Pioton for export by ship will be charged
maximum rate, 7s. 6d. per ton, including loading, unloading, and wharfage.
Shipe' goods of Classes A, B, C, D, from Pioton, will be charged as Class B.
Maximun charge, including wharfage, loading, and unloading, 7s. 6d. per ton, weight
or measurcment, according to shipe' bill of lading.
All other goods of Classes A, B, C, D will be charged as Class A.
Fresh meat consigned from Blenheim to Pioton will be charged at the clasified
rates for Class C.
Gooda of Class E consigned to Pioton for shipmeut will be charged 5s. a ton; if
to private sidings, 4s. 6d. a ton; including wharfage and handling at ship's side. At
Tua Marina and Spring. Creok Stations, on goods of Class E preceding, no storage
will be charged for the first four weeks, after which 1d. per ton per week will be
charged. The department does not guarantee storage room.
