NOTICE to NAtive Owners and Lessee of a MEETING to be held at the COURTHOUSE, OPUNAK, at 11 o'clock a.m. on WEDNEDAY, the 10th JANUARY, 1894, to fix the RENT for a NEW LEASE to France Catherin Herlihy, of Section No. 5, Block X., Opunake, containing in all 88 aeres (more or less), being Land comprised in Memoranum of Leases registered No. 1028.

TO Ihaia Ngaikirikii, Akinhi Rimona, Pikete Eruini Kawakawa, Wainui Eruini Kawa-kawa (Eruini Kawakawa, truste), Matu Whare-matang, Rangimoekai, Pau te Wakena, Pohutu (Mata Hineotinga and Rua Ngaikau, trutees for Rangimoekai, Pau te Wakena, and Pohutu), Tuh-whakarero, Wierem Hohaia, Kuni Hohaia, Ori-wia Hohaia, Paret Teira, Pia Teira, Mere Teira, Harata Tuhwhakarero, Anihera Ruaakau, Nga-mi-raka Rauwa, Marore Ait, Marore, Nga-miraka, Te Awha Parai, Moi Parai, Taria Warihi, Tare Warihi, Te Mira Wharepore, Hame Iwaitai, Haka-raia Tangaiaka, Pakihore Eruini, Eruini Kawa-kawa (Rangiteanau), Komega Rona, Ruke Ha-kopa, Hona Rake, Te Kawau Rake, Ngeru Rake, Taria-kamu, Kahukaraiti, Te Ataao Kahukaraiti, Nga-mura Kahukaraiti, Mere te Rangikawarara, Rongo Maros, Ihaia te Manu (Rangiru), Ihaia te Rau, Erana te Raua, Hota te Whakarur, and the other native owners of all those pieces of land situate in the Opunake survey District, being Section No. 5, Block X., and containing by admeaurement in all 88 aeres (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandm of leae registered No. 1028, to France Catherin Herlihy, of Opunake, settler, as lessee:

Whereas the above-named France Catherin Herlihy has given notice to me, under the provi-sions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlememt Reserves Act, 1892," that she desire to obtain under that section a new leae of the land above described; and I consider her application ough to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do here-by appoint a meeting to take place between the said France Catherin Herlihy and all the native owners of the above-described land, for the pur-pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first tweneyone years of the new leae; and I fix the Courthouse, Opunake, as the place where, and Wednesday, the 10th January, 1894, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

Whereas the above-named LEWIS JAMES WIL-LLMS has given notice to me, under the provi-sions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlememt Re-serves Act, 1892," that he desire to obtain under that section a new leae of the land above de-scried; and I consider his application ough to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do here-by appoint a meeting to take place between the said LEWIS JAMES WILLLMS and all the native owners of the above-described land, for the pur-pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first tweneyone years of the new leae; and I fix the Courthouse, Manai, as the place where, and Monday, the 8th day of January, 1894, at 9 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
