Dissolving the General Assembly.

To the LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLORS of the Colony of New Zealand, and the
MEMBERS elected to serve in the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES of the
said colony, and to all whom it may concern--GREETING:

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS I have thought fit to dissolve the General Assembly of New
Zealand, which stands prorogued to the ninth day of November, one thou-
sand eight hundred and ninety-three: Now KNOW YE that I, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do for that end publish this Proclamation, and do hereby
dissolve the said General Assembly accordingly; and the Legislative Councillors,
and the Members elected to serve in the House of Representatives, are discharged
from their meeting and attendance on the said ninth day of November, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-three.

Given under the hand of Sir James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice,
for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, and as his duly-
appointed Deputy in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at Wellington, this eighth day of November, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.
