NOTICE OF INTENTION TO RENEW WATER-RACE
LICENSE.

Queenstown, 7th September, 1893.
To the Mining Registrar at Queenstown of the Otago Mining
District, and all other persons whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to renew our water-race
license, No. 302 (11th July, 1878), to divert and use
water for mining purposes, described as commencing at
a point on the south side of Skipper’s Creek, Upper Shot-
over, about 200ft. below Messrs. Southberg’s dam at Skip-
per’s Creek, and terminating at our crushing-machine or
battery at Bullendale; and that such renewed license shall
be subject to the same annual payment and to the like
conditions, and shall confer the like privileges, including the
right of renewal, as were and are conferred by the said
original license No. 302.

The length of such race is 150 yards, or thereabouts; and
its intended course is north and south.

Term of renewal license to be fifteen years, with right of
renewal at end of said term.

The mean depth of such race is 1ft., and the mean breadth
is 3ft.; and it is proposed to divert ten Government heads
of water, being the quantity of water already held under
the said license No. 302. Priority to the said water to date
from, and including, the 11th July, 1878, and preserving
all other priorities and rights of every description to the
said race.

Time required for construction: Already constructed and
in use.

Number and date of miner’s right: 2409; 19th April, 1893
(consolidated).

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

TAKE notice that the Partnership heretofore subsisting
between JOHN CRAIG MCKERROW and WALTER MAC-
NAUGHTON, under the name of “ McKerrow and Macnaugh-
ton,” as Sheep-farmers, Wairarapa, was dissolved by mutual
consent on Monday, the 9th day of October, 1893; and as
from that date the said business will be carried on by the
said John Craig McKerrow solely, and all debts due to and
owing by the late firm will as from such date be receivable
and payable respectively by the said John Craig McKerrow.

gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents,
expired letters patent, and other information useful to in-
