NOTICE is hereby given that THE DOMINION CIGAR AND
CIGARETTE FACTORY, of Customs Street, Auckland,
New Zealand, Tobacco, Cigar, and Cigarette Manufacturers,
have applied to register, under "The Patents, Designs, and
Trade-marks Act, 1889," the trade-mark of which the follow-
ing is a representation:—

The essential particulars of this trade-mark are the
design and the words "Stars and Stripes "; and the appli-
cants disclaim any right to the exclusive use of the added
matter.

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade-
mark shall apply.

Tobacco, cigars, and cigarettes.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicants
desire the Trade-mark to be registered.

Class No. 45.

Any person may, within two months of the date of this
Gazette, give notice, in duplicate, at this office, of opposition
to the registration of the trade-mark. A fee of £1 is payable

Trade-marks Act, 1889," the trade-mark of which the follow-

the representation of a steering-wheel and the legend
