Land Transfer Act Notices.
In the matter of a Lease No. 2007, Charles Tait to Rhody Slattery, the younger, of Section 95, Block VII., Waimate Survey District.
NOTICE of re-entry and determination of the above lease, on the ground of default in payment of rent, will be entered on the Register, on the application of the registered proprietor, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one calendar month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE UNDER “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882,” AND ITS AMENDMENTS.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council intend to take, as for a public work, to wit, the construction of a road, a part of Allotment 57 of the Parish of Maungatapere, in the County of Marsden, containing 2 acres and 17 perches, more or less; and that the said Council have caused a plan to be prepared showing the land required to be taken for the same, and the names of the owners and occupiers as far as can be ascertained; and that such plan is deposited at the residence of Mr. H. S. Wilson, Maungatapere, in the Maunu Road District, and is open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. And all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution of such work, or the taking of such land, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Whangarei County Council, at their office, at Whangarei, in the Town District of Whangarei.

In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof.
NOTICE is hereby given that “the inhabitants of the Fitzherbert Road District,” by the Board thereof, require to construct a public work, to wit, to make a deviation in the Fitzherbert Road West, where such road passes sections numbered 135 and 136 in the said district, and for that purpose require to take the land described in the Schedule hereunder written. A plan, showing generally the nature of the proposed work, and the lands required to be taken, together with names and occupiers of such land, has been deposited at the dwelling-house of Mr. William Sobye, in the said district, and is open for inspection there by all persons at reasonable hours.
All persons affected by the proposed work are required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the day of the date hereof, to the Fitzherbert Road Board, at their offices in Main Street, Palmerston North.
Dated this 11th day of September, 1893.
The Schedule hereinbefore referred to:—
All that piece of land being part of Section No. 136, in Fitzherbert District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 18·75 perches; and also all that piece of land, being part of section numbered 135 in the last-mentioned district, and containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 1·5 perches, be the said several admeasurements a little more or less, and as the same pieces of land are more particularly described on the said plan.
