Powers delegated to the Waihoro Park Domain Board
under “The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

GLASGOW, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth
day of September, 1893.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His
Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council,
dated the sixteenth day of September, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety, making delegation of certain powers in
manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice
and consent, by this present order, delegate, but only with
respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the
Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act afore-
said, except the powers under or conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who
shall be known as the Waihoro Park Domain Board,
namely,—

WILLIAM BIRDLING,
HUGH DEANS BUCHANAN,
WILLIAM COOP,
ROBERT A. FORBES, and
JOSEPH HODGSON PARKINSON

(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipula-
tions hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business
    on the fourth Thursday in each month, at four o’clock p.m.,
    at Lincoln, or at such other time or place as may from time
    to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be
    held on Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of October, one
    thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
    meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

  4. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
    and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the fourth
    Thursday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
    elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
    discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
    vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
    his successor.

  5. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
    time appointed for holding the same, the members present
    shall choose some one of their number to be chairman of
    such meeting.

  6. If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
    the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the
    members may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
    Chairman.

  7. All questions shall be determined by the majority of
    votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land situate in the Halswell Survey Dis-
trict, Provincial District of Canterbury, containing 200 acres.
Bounded on the north-east by a line parallel to and about
4 chains distance from the railway-line; on the north-west
by Section No. 2443; on the north-east by Section No. 2443;
on the north-west by a line beginning from a point on the
south-west boundary of Section No. 2443 and about 12 chains
from the south-west corner of that section, and running at
right angles for a distance of about 40 chains, thence in a
south-easterly direction for about 45 chains; and on the
south-east by a line parallel to the north-west boundary:
to take in the required area.

“ The Public Domains Act, 1881.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His
Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council,
dated the twenty-second day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-two, making delegation of certain powers
in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like
advice and consent, by this present order, delegate, but
only with respect to the piece or parcel of land described in
the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act
aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections
five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who
shall be known as the Pakuranga Domain Board, namely,—

EDWARD FITZPATRICK,
JOSEPH ROBERTS,
LAURENCE FITZPATRICK,
JOHN GILL, and
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PAKURANGA ROAD BOARD

(herein referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipula-

    at the Public Hall, Pakuranga, or at such other time or
    place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board.
    The first meeting shall be held on Saturday, the fourth
    day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
    three.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
situate in the Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey Dis-
trict, being Lots Nos. 17 and 18 of Section No. 5, small lots
near the Village of Howick, containing 24 acres and 27
perches. Bounded towards the north by Allotment No. 19,
a road-line, the crossing of the aforesaid road-line, again by
a road-line, Allotment No. 20 of Section No. 5, and Allot-
ment No. 63 of the Parish of Pakuranga, 3,741 links; on the
south-east and east by a road-line, 3,068 links; on the south
by Allotment No. 14 of Section No. 5 aforesaid, 864 links;
and on the west by Allotment No. 1 of the Parish of Paku-
ranga aforesaid, 1,037 links: save and excepting a road 100
links wide, which intersects the area above described: be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated
on the official maps in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Licensing Trustees for the Kawatiri Rowing Club to use and
occupy a Part of the Foreshore of Westport Harbour.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth
day of September, 1893.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered
to grant the license hereinafter mentioned, the
Kawatiri Rowing Club, of Westport (hereinafter called “the
club”), has applied to the Governor in Council for a license,
under “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1883” (herein-
after called “the said Act”), to occupy a part of the fore-
shore in Westport Harbour, in order to erect and main-
tain thereon a boat-shed; and, in accordance with the
one hundred and fifty-sixth section of “The Harbours Act,
1878,” has deposited a plan in the office of the Marine
