REMARKS.—Generally showery weather, with a few fine days; heavy rain in early part and end of month—1·50in. recorded on 30th, being the maximum for the month; prevailing S.E. and N.W. winds, and frequently fresh, but only very strong on 14th and 30th, from N.W.; maximum temperature in shade, 60°; minimum, 35°; fog on 3rd, 4th, and 10th; mean temperature of dew-point, 42°·8; mean humidity, 79.
