decrease of 4. The de aths amouned to 162, against 73 in May, an increase of 84. There were 18 de aths of persons of 65
ye ars and upw ards: 4 m ales of 73, 74, 76, and 84, and 2 fem ales of 69 and 90 died at Aucklnd; 3 m ales of 73, 75, and 79,
and 4 fem ales of 73, 77, 82, and 83, at Wellington; 1 m a le of 81 at Chistchurch; 2 m ales of 68 and 71, and 2 fem ales of 66
and 74, at Dune din.

In 1865 Parliament moved to Wellington and sat in the Wellington Provincial Council Chambers (depicted). Gradually expanded into a larger complex of buildings, it was replaced by the General Assembly Library in 1899
