NOTICE TO NAtive Owners and Lessee of a
Meeting to be held at the House of Ruhira
PoriKAPo, at Stony River, at 2 o'clock p.m. on
FRIDAY, the 21st day of July, 1893, to fix the
Rents for a New LEASE to James Smith ROLLO of
Section No. 18, Block V., CAPE, containing 127
acres (more or less), being Land comprised in
memorandum of Leases registered No. 625.

TO Minarara Kaua, Ngarau, Parihita, Ruhira,
Henu Nuitone, Pasa Kaweka, Rangitiria
(trustee, Ami Rameka), Rangiriria, Tatana, Pura-
mena, Mauhana, Wainunga, Te Wehi, and the
other native owners of all that piece of land
sitaute in the cape survey District, being Sec-
ton No. 18, Block V., cape, and containing by
admeasurment 127 (more or less), being
the land comprised in memorandu of leas,
registered No. 625, to James Smith ROLLO, of
Stony River, Okato, farmer, lessee.

Whereas the above-named James Smith ROLLO
has given notice to me, under the provisios
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlememt
Reserves Act, 1892," that he desire to obtain
under that section a new leas of the land above
describ; and I consider his application ougth
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do here-
by appoint a meeting to take place between the
said James Smith ROLLO and all the native
owenrs of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twnty-on years of the new
lease; and I fix the house of Ruhira PoriKAPo, at
Stony River, as the place where, and Friday, the
21st day of July, 1893, at 2 o'clock in the after-
noon, as the time when, such meeting shall take
place.

ManaiA, at 2 o'clock p.m. on Monday, the 24th
day of July, 1893, to fix the Rents for a NEW
Lease to ALEXANDER SUTHERLAND of Sections 28 and
29, Block VIL, Waimate, containing 143 aces
and 2 rood (more or less), being Land com-
prised in Memordum of Leases registered
No. 447.

TO ManaiA Hukunui, and the other native
owenrs of all that piece of land sitaute in
the Waimate survey District, being Sections 28
and 29, Block VIL, and containing by admeasur-
ment 143 aces and 2 rood (more or less), being
the land comprised in memorandu of leas,
registered No. 447, to ALEXANDER SUTHERLAND,
from ManaiA, farmer, lessee.

Whereas the above-named ALEXANDER SUTHER-
LAND has given notice to me, under the provisios
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlememt
Reserves Act, 1892," that he desire to obtain
under that section a new leas of the land above
describ; and I consider his application ougth
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do here-
by appoint a meeting to take place between the
said ALEXANDER SUTHERLAND and all the native
owenrs of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twnty-on years of the new
lease; and I fix the Courthouse, ManaiA, as the
place where, and Monday, the 24th day of July,

Lease to THOMAS STRUTHERS of Section 154,
Block 4, Waimate, containing 64 Acres and
1 Rood (more or less), being the Land com-
prised in Memordum of Leases registered
No. 522.

TO PAREKAWHIA, and the other native
owenrs of all that piece of land sitaute in the
Waimate survey District, being Section 154, Block
4, and containing by admeasurment 64 aces
and 1 rood (more or less), being the land com-
prised in memorandu of leas, registered
No. 522, to THOMAS STRUTHERS, of Okaiawa,
Farmer, lessee.

Whereas the above-named THOMAS STRUTHERS
has given notice to me, under the provisios
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlememt
Reserves Act, 1892," that he desire to obtain
under that section a new leas of the land above
describ; and I consider his application ougth
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do here-
by appoint a meeting to take place between the
said THOMAS STRUTHERS and all the native
owenrs of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twnty-on years of the new

29th day of July, 1893, to fix the Rents for a NEW
Lease to John Purdye of part Section 132,
Wairara West District, Wairara survey
district, containing 77 aces and 30 perches
(more or less), being Land comprised in Memo-
randum of Leases registered No. 1712.

TO WATENE KOTOKU, TAIARIK, KAUWIARE,
RANGIHIRAMAI, ATUAWERI TAUOKI, Te Manu-
TAUOKI, NGAPEPA, RAIH WATENE, TITIHU, Te
HUIKINGA HUIA, Te KIRITAKA, Nauora, HAU-
KAREWEA, HAM AOMARAMA, Te Ika, HINEMO,
TAURI, and the other native owners of all that
pice of land sitaute in the Wairara West Dis-
trict, Wairara survey District, being part Sec-
ton 132, and containing by admeasurment 77
aces and 30 perches (more or less), being the
land comprised in memorandu of leas, regis-
tered No. 1712, to John Purdye, of Wairara, lessee.

Whereas the above-named John Purdye has
givne notice to me, under the provisios
of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlememt
Reserves Act, 1892," that he desire to obtain
under that section a new leas of the land above
describ; and I consider his application ougth
to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do here-
by appoint a meeting to take place between the
said John Purdye and all the native
owenrs of the above-described land, for the pur-
pose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said
land for the first twnty-on years of the new
lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Wairara, as the
place where, and Saturday, the 29th day of
july, 1893, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, as the
time when, such meeting shall take place.
