alienation of such land contained in the Land Transfer certificate, bearing date the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the Native Land Court, and the said Court has reported that the provisions of the law in that behalf have been complied with: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such application: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said Land Transfer certificate on the alienation of the said land are hereby removed.

Particulars of Grant or Instrument containing Restrictions. Description of Land.
Certificate of title under the Land Transfer Act, Vol. lii., folio 63, dated the 27th May, 1889, issued by the District Land Registrar of the Land Registration District of Wellington, in favour of Ra-winia te Munu and Te Mutu, and containing the following restrictions: "The above land is inalienable by sale or mortgage, or by lease beyond twenty-one years." All that parcel of land containing 1 acre, situate in the City of Wellington, being Section 5 on the plan of the Native Land Court subdivision of the Polhill Gully Native Reserve, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, at Wellington.

Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of January, 1893.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor in Council by George Skidmore, the Native owner of the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of such land contained in the Crown grant, bearing date the fourteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the Native Land Court, and the said Court has reported that the provisions of the law in that behalf have been complied with: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such application:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said Crown grant on the alienation of the said land are hereby removed.

Crown grant, No. 21535, dated the 14th August, 1886, in favour of George Skidmore, and containing the following restrictions: "Provided that the said land hereby granted shall be inalienable by gift, sale, lease, or mortgage, except with the consent of the Governor previously obtained to any such gift, sale, lease, or mortgage." All that parcel of land containing 50 acres, being Allotment No. 370, in the Parish of Whangamarino.

All that parcel of land, situate in the Hapuakohu Survey District, and containing 50 acres or thereabouts, being Allotment No. 169 of the Parish of Taupiri.
