Persons appointed to grant Licenses under Section 15 of
"The Licensing Act Amendment Act, 1882."
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me in that behalf by "The Licensing Act
Amendment Act, 1882," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
ALEXANDER GRANT SIMPSON,
WILLIAM FERGUSON,
EWEN McGREGOR,
WILLIAM GEORGE THOMPSON, and
WILLIAM WILSON
the Licensing Committee of the District of Paraekaretu, to
exercise, in terms of section 15 of the said Act, a special
authority in the granting of publicans' licenses within the
district the limits of which are defined in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the County of Rangitikei bounded towards
the north-west by the Makohine Stream from its confluence
with the Rangitikei River to the north-eastern boundary-line
of the Otairi Block, Section No. 10; thence towards the
north-east by the said north-eastern boundary-line and its
production through Tikapu Trig. Station to the Rangitikei
River; and thence towards the south-east generally by the
Rangitikei River aforesaid to the place of commencement.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirteenth day of June, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety-three.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries
Act, 1882," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
ANDREW CARTER
to be Trustee, in the place of Rupert Cameron, resigned,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waimate
Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed
by warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor
on the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-four.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this third day of June, one thousand eight hun-
dred and ninety-three.
