my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of
New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of

IN PARLIAMENT.

In the matter of a Bill intituled "An Act to authorise the
Corporation of the Borough of Oamaru to consolidate the
Loans of the said Borough into one Loan bearing Interest
at 5 per Cent. per Annum, and to call in and cancel the
Debentures for Existing Loans, and substitute therefor
Debentures of the Consolidated Loan, and to make other
Provisions relating to the said Loans, and for providing
Interest thereon, and for the Expenses of effecting the
Consolidation."

N OTICE is hereby given that the Corporation of the
Borough of Oamaru intends to make application to
Parliament in its next ensuing session for leave to bring in a
Bill to take power to effect the following objects:—

  1. To issue debentures for a consolidated loan bearing in-
    terest at 5 per centum per annum, and repayable on the
    1st January, 1920, to be a first charge upon the whole reve-
    nues of the corporation.
  2. To call in all the debentures for the existing loans of
    the borough, and issue debentures at par of the consolidated
    loan in exchange therefor.
  3. To make provision for payment of interest in arrear
    upon the existing loans.
  4. To make provision for the collection and distribution
    of sinking funds accumulated in respect of existing loans.
  5. To strike and levy a special rate of 4s. in the pound to
    provide interest upon the consolidated loan.

And further take notice that printed copies of the said
proposed Bill will be deposited at the office of the Examiner
of Standing Orders, at the Parliament Buildings, Wellington,
within fourteen days after the commencement of the session.
