Notice to Native Owners and Lessees of a Meeting to be held at the Courthouse, Waitara, at 4 o'clock p.m. on Saturday, the 24th June, 1893, to fix the Rent for a New Lease to James Hine of Section 10, Block VI., Waitara, containing 190 acres (more or less), being Land comprised in Memorandum of Lease registered No. 739.
To Paratene Nikorima, Turei Nikorima, Teieti Hoera, Rarini Watene, Hoera Para, Wi Kingi Kaponga, Te Rako Eruera Kingi, Meha Paratene, Erumia Marau, Te One Mihi, Ngana tamaiti, Pitama Rawiri, Te Warepukahu, Peina Taingaia, Peina Puna Ponga, Hapurona Tau- pata, Kamare Teieti, Riria Tutare, Kahira Piti, Heni Hineahi, Ani Rawiri, Ani Piti Rawiri, Ware- tiki Rai, Hinemate Paratene, Wairerewha Para, Kuramahiao Arapata, Ngarongo Arapata, Ruihi Hakaraka, Ruruhira Porana, Kuramahiao, Te Miri, Kawara, Miriama, Tapuhi, Hapurona, Netaia, Moari (Arapata Tairi, trustee for Tapuhi, Moari, and Hapurona), Ruruhira Piti, Metapere Paraone, Pereniki Paratene, Taukirangi Pene, Makere, Miriama Arapata, Makera Nua, Moari Arapata, Kamara Arapata, Mina Kurimahiao, Mere Tuhia, and the other Native owners of all that piece of land situate in the Waitara Survey District, being Section 10, Block VI., and containing by admeasurement 190 acres (more or less), being the land comprised in memorandum of lease, registered No. 739, to James Hine, of Tikorangi, farmer, as lessee.
Whereas the above-named James Hine has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892," that he desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above described; and I consider his application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said James Hine and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease; and I fix the Courthouse, Waitara, as the place where, and Saturday, the 24th day of June, 1893, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.

Whereas the above-named Isabella Home has given notice to me, under the provisions of section 8 of "The West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1892," that she desires to obtain under that section a new lease of the land above de- scribed; and I consider her application ought to be given effect to: Now, therefore, I do hereby appoint a meeting to take place between the said Isabella Home and all the Native owners of the above-described land, for the purpose of fixing the rent to be paid for the said land for the first twenty-one years of the new lease, and I fix the Courthouse, Manai'a, as the place where, and Friday, the 30th day of June, 1893, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, as the time when, such meeting shall take place.
