Land set apart for Settlement.

GLASGOW, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the second section of "The Government
Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1891"
(herein termed "the said Act"), it is, amongst other things,
enacted that, before certain moneys therein mentioned shall
be expended upon any block of land, it shall be necessary
that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power
and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the
purposes of the said Act, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
the block of land described in the Schedule hereto as set
apart for settlement.
SCHEDULE.
OXFORD ASSOCIATION BLOCK.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, situated in
Blocks V., VI., and X., Ngatimaru Survey District. Bounded
towards the north generally by the Waitara River, a Native
reserve, and a public road; towards the north-east generally
by a public road; towards the south generally by public
roads and Crown lands; and towards the north-west by the
Waitara River: containing a net area for selection of 4,000
acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight
Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of
Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at Wellington, this
twenty-sixth day of December, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and sixty-eighth section of "The
Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do, by this Proclamation, set
apart the sections of land described in the Schedule hereto,
and declare that the same shall be open for lease as village
settlements.
