• The Kaih u Section was worked by the Public W orks Department up to the 31st December, 1892; after which it was
  handed over to the Railway Commissioners. The expe nditure for the nine months was £1,406 19s. 2d., and the revenue
  £1,033 18s. 2d. The total results for the financial year ending the 31st March, 1893, are—revenue, £1,444 1s. 1d.; expe ndi -
  ture, £1,978 4s. 7d. The line was worked during the preceding year wh olly by the Public W orks Department. Revenue,
  £1,698 13s. 6d.; expe nditure, £1,721 17s. 7d. The data are sup plied by the Public W orks Department.
