keep a book or books in which shall be entered a true and
accurate account of all timber felled, cut, or disposed of, and
such book shall be open for the inspection of the Warden or
Inspector, or such person as the Warden may otherwise ap-
point to inspect the same; and such holder of a certificate
shall furnish the Warden and Inspector with a true and ac-
curate statement of the quantity of timber so felled, cut, or
disposed of every three months; such statement to be fur-
nished in the months of January, April, July, October in
each year, for the three months immediately previous. All
royalty and license fees shall be paid to the Receiver of Gold
Revenue.

Notice regulating the Time for searching in the Deeds
Registry Offices.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority con-
ferred on me by section seventy-three of "The Deeds
Registration Act, 1868," I hereby make the following regula-
tion in regard to the practice and procedure under the said
Act, that is to say:β€”
Every Deeds Registry Office shall be open to the public for
the purpose of searching the Register in such office from
10 a.m. until 4.30 p.m., except on Saturdays, when the hours
shall be from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
And it is hereby declared that, subject to the approval of
the Governor in Council, this regulation shall come into force
on the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand
Gazette.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this eighth
day of March, one thousand eight hundred and
