NOTICE is hereby given that ALEXANDER THOMSON
(trading as “Thomson & Co.”), of Dunedin, New
Zealand, Mineral- and Aërated-water Manufacturer, has
applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and
Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the fol-
lowing is a representation :—

The essential particulars of this trade-mark are the general
device and the cross, and the single and double circles sur-
rounding it; and any right to the exclusive use of the words
“Trade Mark,” “Registered,” or “Purity” is disclaimed.

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade-
mark shall apply.

Quinine-wine, quinine-champagne, sarsaparilla, and tonic
water.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicant
desires the Trade-mark to be registered.

Class No. 3.

Any person may, within two months of the date of this
Gazette, give notice, in duplicate, at this office, of opposition
to the registration of the trade-mark. A fee of £1 is payable
with such notice.

NEW ZEALAND
FACTORY.

The essential particular of this trade-mark is the word
“Pioneer” over “New Zealand Factory,” and any right to
the exclusive use of the words “New Zealand Factory” is
disclaimed.
