NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of share-
holders in the late Taranaki Iron Company (Limited)
will be held at the office of Mr. C. T. Mills, Exchange Cham-
bers, Devon Street, New Plymouth, on Monday, the 15th
day of May, 1893, at 7.30 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of
receiving the Liquidators' accounts.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and its amend-
ments, and of the Auckland Direct Importing Company
(Limited).
At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company, duly convened and held at the registered
office of the company, Queen Street, Auckland, on the 3rd
day of February, 1893, the following special resolution was
duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meet-
ing of the members of the said company, also duly convened
and held at the same place on the 27th day of February,
1893, the following resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:—
"That the company be wound up voluntarily under the
provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882,' and its amend-
ments; and that Alexander Roger Morrison, of the City of
Auckland, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the
purpose of such winding-up."

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and of the
several Acts amending the same; and in the matter of
the Seed and Agricultural Company of New Zealand
(Limited), in liquidation.
His Honour Mr. Justice Denniston has, by an order dated
the 17th day of December, 1892, appointed Harcourt
Lee, of Christchurch, Accountant, to be Official Liquidator
of the above-named company. The creditors of the above-
named company are required, on or before Thursday the 9th
day of March, 1893, to send their names and addresses, and
the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and
addresses of their Solicitors, if any, to Harcourt Lee, of
Christchurch, Accountant, the Official Liquidator of the said
company, at the registered office of the company, No. 178,
Gloucester Street, Christchurch, and, if so required, by
notice in writing from the said Official Liquidator, are by
their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or
claims at the Registrar's Office in the Supreme Court-
house at Christchurch, at such time as shall be specified
in such notice, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded
from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts
are proved. Friday, the 24th day of March, 1893, at twelve
o'clock at noon, at the Registrar's said office, is appointed
for hearing and adjudicating upon the debts and claims.
