A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of
a provisional certificate of title for Section 1 of 20,
Block II., Moeraki District, described in Vol. xx., folio 229,
of the Register-book, of which NEIL JOSEPH BRUCE
MCGREGOR, of Silverstream, Gentleman, deceased, is the
registered Proprietor, and evidence having been lodged as
to the loss of the original certificate, I hereby give notice
that I will issue the certificate, as requested, unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 22nd day of
December, 1892.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” to con-
struct a road near the Waipawa River Works, in the County
of Patangata, to connect with the present Mangatarata
Road, and to give access to the Waipawa and Tukituki
Rivers, and to take for such purpose certain lands described
in the Schedule hereto appended. A plan of the said road
and of the land required is deposited at Mr. George Clark’s
store, Kaikora North, for public inspection.

It is hereby notified that all persons affected by the execu-
tion of such public work or by the taking of such land shall,
if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution
of such public work or the taking of such land, set forth the
same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days
from the first publication of this notice, to the office of the
Patangata County Council, at Waipukurau, Hawke’s Bay.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
NORTHERN DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its
amendments, and in the matter of T. and S. Morrin and
Co. (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for confirming
a special resolution reducing the capital of the above
company from £150,000 to £25,000 was, on the 25th day of
November, 1892, presented unto the Supreme Court of New
Zealand, Northern Judicial District, and the said Supreme
Court did order that such special resolution be confirmed;
and the said order and the minute thereto have been regis-
tered at the office of the Registrar of Joint-stock Companies
at Auckland; and the said Court did further order that the
addition of the words “and reduced” to the name of the
company be dispensed with altogether.

The said minute is in the words and figures following:—
“Minute approved by the Court: The capital of T. and S.
Morrin and Co. (Limited) is £25,000, divided into 30,000
shares of sixteen shillings and eightpence each. At the
time of the registration of this minute the whole of the said
30,000 shares have been issued and fully paid up.”

I, WALTER HISLOP, Manager of the Perpetual Trustees
Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand
(Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare—

1. That the liability of members is limited.
2. That the capital of the company is £106,250, divided
   into 25,000 shares of £4 5s. each.
3. That the number of shares issued is 21,669.
4. That calls to the amount of 7s. 6d. per share have been
   made, under which the sum of £8,125 17s. 6d. has been
   received.
5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of
   estates under administration is £1,509 3s. 7d.
6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of
   estates under administration is £986 4s. 2d.
7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of
   estates under administration is £578 14s. 6d.
8. That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of
   November last were—Debts owing to sundry persons by the
   company, viz., on judgment, nil; on speciality, nil; on notes
   or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £9,276 2s. 11d.; on esti-
   mated liabilities, nil.
9. That the assets of the company on that day were—Go-
   vernment securities, nil; bills of exchange and promissory
   notes, nil; cash at bankers and on deposit, £1,533 3s. 6d.;
   other securities, £14,955 19s. 9d.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously
believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions
of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled
“The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”
