NOTICE is hereby given that VAN OS AND SCHUTTE, of Amsterdam, Holland, Tobacco and Cigar Manufacturers, have applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation:—

The applicants claim as the essential particulars of this trade-mark the distinctive label, the figure of the man seated in a chair in the foreground, the oriental background, the monogram in each of the upper corners, and the letters “P. J’s,” and they disclaim any right to the exclusive use of the word “Lankat.”

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade-mark shall apply.

Manufactured tobacco.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicants desire the Trade-mark to be registered.
