OTHER BUSINESS.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council bearing date the fourteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, after reciting that the land set out in the Schedule hereto had been conveyed in or about the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-two to Her Majesty for the purpose of a school-site, and that the said piece of land had not been used for the purpose and is not now required, and that it is expedient that it should be granted to such persons of the Native race as may be found by the Native Land Court to be entitled thereto, His Excellency the Governor, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by “The Native Land Court Act, 1886,” and “The Native Land Court Act Amendment Act, 1889,” acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, did order and declare that the Native Land Court shall have jurisdiction to inquire and determine to what persons and to what relative proportions the said piece of land ought to be conveyed, and to make such order in that behalf as the nature of the case may require.

Notice is hereby given that, in exercise of the jurisdiction conferred by the said recited order, and of every other authority in that behalf, the Court will, at a sitting to be opened at Waiomatatini on the 13th day of January, 1893, proceed to inquire into and make order upon the several matters brought within its jurisdiction as aforesaid so far as concerns the land specified in the said Schedule to the said order and in the Schedule hereto.

AND it is hereby notified that the Court will, at the sitting hereinbefore mentioned, inquire and decide what, as among the several owners of the lands hereunder named, are their relative shares or interest in such lands, and make orders accordingly : Whakaangiangi No. 1, Whakaangiangi No. 2, Whakaangiangi No. 4, Whakaangiangi No. 5, Whakaangiangi No. 6.
