Mining Notice.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and the Hokitika and Kanieri Gold-dredging Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the Hokitika and Kanieri Gold-dredging Company (Limited), held at the company's rooms, 2, Grain Agency Buildings, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 6th day of October, 1892, and at an extraordinary general meeting held on Friday, the 21st day of October, 1892, the following resolutions were passed and confirmed:

  1. "That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882,' and the Acts amending the same."

  2. "That Alfred Arnaud Morris McKellar be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

  3. "That the remuneration of said Liquidator for his services be fixed at £25."

Private Advertisements.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and the Acts amending the same, and in the matter of the New Zealand Methodist Company (Limited and Reduced).

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Canterbury District, bearing date the 14th day of October instant, whereby the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £2,500 to £1,250 was confirmed, and the minute approved by the said Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the said Act, were registered by the Registrar of Joint-stock Companies at Christchurch on the 21st day of October instant; and further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following, that is to say:

"The capital of the New Zealand Methodist Company (Limited and Reduced) is from henceforth £1,250, divided into 2,500 shares of 10s. each (of which shares only 2,380 have been issued, in respect whereof the sum of 10s. per share has been and is to be deemed paid up), instead of the original capital of £2,500, divided into 2,500 shares of £1 each.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and the various Acts amending the same, and in the matter of the South Canterbury Building and Investment Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a special general meeting of the shareholders of the above company held on Friday, the 14th day of October, 1892, a resolution passed at a general meeting of the shareholders, held on Friday, the 23rd day of September, 1892, "That the company be wound up voluntarily," was duly confirmed; and notice is hereby also given that WILLIAM ROBERT QUINN and ALEXANDER MONTGOMERY, both of Timaru, Accountants, have been appointed Liquidators of the said company.

In the matter of the Black Ball Creek Coal Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at Warner's Commercial Hotel, in the City of Christchurch, on the 30th day of September, 1892, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened and held at the office of Messrs. Harper and Co., in the City of Christchurch, on the 17th day of September, 1892, the following resolution was duly confirmed:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882.'"

And at such last-mentioned meeting EDWARD FETHERSTONHAUGH DOMBRAIN, of the City of Christchurch, Commission Agent, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between JAMES HENRY PARKER and WILLIAM ALEXANDER TRIBE, as Clothiers and Mercers, under the style or firm of "Parker and Tribe," at 199, Cashel Street West, and at the corner of High Street and Cashel Street, in Christchurch, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 28th day of July last.

The said James Henry Parker will in the future carry on the business on his own account at the shop at the corner of High Street and Cashel Street; and the said William Alexander Tribe will carry on the business on his own account at 199, Cashel Street West (next Ballantyne's).

THE WELLINGTON BACON-CURING AND COOL-STORAGE COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, convened and held at my offices, in Willis Street, Wellington, on the 21st day of September, 1892, the subjoined special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened and held at the same place, on the 12th day of October, 1892, the said resolution was duly confirmed:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily, under the provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882.'"

And at such last-mentioned meeting the undersigned, ALFRED JOHN REID, of Wellington, Auctioneer, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.
