This district is bounded towards the north by the Ashley Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the east by Pegasus Bay to the mouth of the Waimakariri River; thence towards the south and towards the south-east generally by the said Waimakariri River and its south branch to a point due east of the south-eastern corner of Section No. 560, Block III., Christchurch Survey District; thence towards the south by a right line to the said south-eastern corner; thence by the road which forms the southern boundary of that section; thence towards the south-west by the road which forms the south-western boundary of the said Section No. 560 and the south-western boundary of Section No. 738 of the said Block III. to the road which forms the southern boundary of Section No. 876; thence again towards the south-east and south-west by that road and the road which forms the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section No. 820 of the said Block III., and the production of the northern side of the last-mentioned road to Kaikainui Creek; thence towards the north-west by that creek to the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 1014 of the said Block III.; thence again towards the south-west by that road to Cherry Road; thence by the said Cherry Road and the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 1851, Block XV., Rangiora Survey District, to the north branch of the Waimakariri River; thence again towards the north-west generally by the north branch of the Waimakariri River to the Rangiora Main Drain and Road; thence again towards the south-west by the said Rangiora Main Drain and Road and the Oxford and Rangiora Road to the Oxford and Rangiora Railway-line; thence by a line across that railway-line; and thence by the said railway-line to a point due north from former Trig. Station C30, in the Rolleston Survey District; again towards the east by a line due south to the Waimakariri River (the last-mentioned line being the western boundary-line of the Road Districts of Eyreton and Mandeville); thence again towards the south and towards the south-west by the said Waimakariri River; and again towards the north-west by the said Ashley Electoral District: including Section No. 32984, in the Waimakariri River, and the remainder of the island of which it forms a portion.

This district is bounded towards the west and towards the north-east generally by the Kaiapoi Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from a point on the left bank of the Waimakariri River, due north of former Trig. Station C30, in the Rolleston Survey District, to the mouth of the said Waimakariri River; thence towards the east by Pegasus Bay to the estuary of the Heathcote and the Avon Rivers; thence towards the south-west and towards the south-east by the said estuary to the Heathcote River; thence towards the south and again towards the south-west generally by the said Heathcote River to the south-eastern side of Navigation Street; thence towards the north-west by the south-eastern side of the said street and its production to the north-eastern side of Ferry Road; thence by that road and Hargood’s Road to the Canal and Road Reserve; thence by a right line in continuation of the eastern side of Hargood’s Road to the north-eastern side of the said Canal and Road Reserve; thence again towards the south-west by that reserve to Park Road, Linwood; thence again towards the south-east by the eastern side of Park Road and the eastern side of Ollivier’s Road; thence again towards the south-west by the south side of Ferry Road; thence towards the west by the East Town Belt of the City of Christchurch to the River Avon; thence towards the south and again towards the north-west by the left bank of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary-line of a subdivision of Section No. 197, Block XI., Christchurch Survey District, containing 3 acres and 35 perches; thence towards the south by a right line to the said southern boundary-line; thence by that boundary-line to the road which forms the north-western boundary of a subdivision of the said Section No. 197, containing 5 acres 2 roods; thence by that road to a road intersecting the said Section No. 197, and by the last-mentioned road to the North Avon Road; thence by that
road to Hill’s Road; thence towards the west by the said Hill’s Road to Shirley’s Road; thence again towards the south-west by the said Shirley’s Road to Innes Road; thence by the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 345A to Kelly’s Road; thence towards the north by Kelly’s Road to Hill’s Road; thence again towards the west generally by the last-named road to Hawkins Road; thence by Hawkins Road to the Canal and Road Reserve; thence by the road crossing the Styx River and intersecting Sections Nos. 1218 and 1351, Christchurch Survey District, and proceeding past Sections Nos. 2412, 26111, 26183, and 1527 of the said survey district and across the railway-line near Chaney’s Railway-station; thence towards the south by the road leading to the North Road at the eastern boundary of Section No. 837, Christchurch Survey District; thence by the said North Road to the road which forms the northern boundary of the said Section No. 837, and thence by that road to the Waimakariri River; thence again towards the south by the right bank of that river to a point due south of the westernmost point of McLean’s Island; thence again towards the west by a line due north to that island; thence by the western and northern limits of the said McLean’s Island to a point due north of former Trig. Station No. C30, in the Rolleston Survey District; and thence again towards the west by a line due north to the left bank of the said Waimakariri River.

This district is bounded towards the east generally by the Avon Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from Innes Road to the junction of Ferry Road and Wilson’s Road; thence towards the south-east by the said Wilson’s Road to the road running along the Heathcote River, and known as Heathcote Terrace; thence by the said Heathcote Terrace to Tennyson Street; thence towards the south by the said Tennyson Street to Colombo Road; thence towards the west by the said Colombo Road to Strickland Street; thence towards the south-west by the said Strickland Street and its north-eastern side produced across the River Heathcote; thence by that river to Douglas Jerrold Street, and thence by the last-mentioned street to the Lower Lincoln Road; thence again towards the north-west by that road to Hagley Park; thence again towards the south and west by the southern and western boundary-lines of Hagley Park to Riccarton Road; thence again towards the south by Riccarton Road to the railway-line; thence again towards the west by the railway-line to Waimairi Creek (branch of the River Avon); thence towards the north by the left bank of that creek and the River Avon to Boundary Road; thence again towards the south-west by the said Boundary Road to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section No. 133; thence again towards the south-east by that road to the River Avon; thence again towards the south-west by that river and Rural Section No. 242 to Norman’s Road; and thence again towards the north-west generally by Norman’s Road, Papanui Road, May’s Road, McFadden’s Road, Philpott’s Road, and Innes Road to Shirley’s Road, at the boundary of the Avon Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.

This district is bounded towards the north generally by the City of Christchurch Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from Lower Lincoln Road to the junction of Ferry Road and Wilson’s Road; thence towards the north-west and north-east generally by the Avon Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the estuary of the Heathcote and the Avon Rivers; thence by the said estuary and Pegasus Bay to Godley Head; thence towards the south by Lyttelton Harbour to the eastern boundary of the Native Reserve at Rapaki; thence towards the west by the said reserve (which forms the western boundary of the Borough of Lyttelton) to its northern boundary; thence by a line due north to the summit of the Port Hills; thence again towards the south-east by the said Port Hills to the western side of Dyer’s Pass Road; thence again towards the west by the western side of the said Dyer’s Pass Road to the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 1335, Block XV., Christchurch Survey District; thence again towards the south-west by that section and Sections Nos. 551 and 112 and the northern boundary-line of the last-named section produced to the left bank of the Heathcote River; thence again towards the south-east generally and again towards the south-west by the said Heathcote River to the Lower Lincoln Road; and thence again towards the north-west by that road to the City of Christchurch Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
