Ruamahanga River; thence by the said Ruamahanga River to its confluence with the Waingawa River; thence again towards the south-west by the said Waingawa River to its source; thence by a line due west to the summit of the Tararua Range; and thence towards the north-west by the summit of the Tararua Range to the Waipawa Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
WAIRARAPA.
This district is bounded towards the north-east and north generally by the Masterton Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the summit of the Tararua Range to the ocean; thence towards the south-east and south-west by the ocean to Cape Turakirae; and thence towards the north-west by the summit of the Rimutaka Range and the summit of the Tararua Range to the Masterton Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
NEW PLYMOUTH.
This district is bounded towards the north by the Waipa Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the south-east generally by the Waikato Electoral District, hereinbefore described, and the Wanganui River to the intersection of the latter by the 39th [parallel of south latitude; thence towards the south by the said 39th parallel to the Taranaki confiscation boundary-line; thence again towards the south-east by the said confiscation boundary-line to a point in line with the southern boundary-line of Block VI., Huiroa Survey District; thence again towards the south by a right line in the direction of the said southern boundary-line of Block VI. as far as the Makino Stream; thence towards the south-west by that stream and the Waitara River to the confluence of the Manganui River with the said Waitara River; thence again towards the south-east by the said Manganui River to the confluence of the Kurapete Stream with that river; thence by the said Kurapete Stream to Section No. 238 of (Huirangi) Huiroa Survey District; thence again towards the south-west and south generally by the said Section No. 238, the crossing of a road, and Sections Nos. 233, 230, and 221 to Richmond Road; thence across that road, and by Sections Nos. 215 and 214, and 205, all of (Huirangi) Waitara Survey District, to Wortley Road; thence across that road and by Sections Nos. 212 and 204 of (Huirangi) Paritutu Survey District to the western side of the Wanganui-New Plymouth Railway-line; thence again towards the south-east generally by the said railway-line to Humphries Street, in the Town of Inglewood; thence by that street and its northern side produced to the left bank of the Waiongona-iti; thence by that stream to Junction Road; thence by the said Junction Road to Windsor Road; thence by the said Windsor Road to Section No. 111 of (Moa) Egmont Survey District; thence by the said Section No. 111 to the Waiongona; thence by that stream to the road which forms the northern boundary of Section No. 12, Block VII., of the said Egmont Survey District; thence by that road and the road which forms the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 11 and 10 of the said Block VII. to the Mangaoraka Stream; thence by the said Mangaoraka Stream to Section No. 4 of the said Block VII.; thence by the said Section No. 4 to Egmont Road; thence across that road and by Section No. 25 of the said Block VII. to the Waiwakaiho; thence by that stream to the Egmont Forest Reserve; thence again towards the south-west by that reserve to the Mangorei Stream; thence again towards the south-east by the right bank of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 134 of (Omata) Egmont Survey District; thence towards the north-east by a right line to the point of intersection of the lines known as the Paritutu and Okurukuru lines respectively; thence again towards the south-east by a right line to Mount Egmont; thence again towards the south-west by a right line to Trig. Station C, Pouakai Range; thence by a right line to the source of the Katikara Stream; thence by that stream to the ocean; and towards the north-west and west by the ocean to the Waipa Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
EGMONT.
This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the New Plymouth Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the south-east by the Wanganui River to the first bend south of the confluence of the Tangarakau River with the said Wanganui River; thence by a right line to Whakaiuwaka Trig. Station; thence by lines from hill to hill along the summit of the western watershed of the Wanganui River to a point in line with the southern boundary-line of Block VIII., Ngaire Survey District; thence towards the south by a right line to the south-eastern corner of that block; thence by the southern boundary-lines of Blocks VIII., VII., VI., and V., Ngaire Survey District, to the Waingongoro; thence again towards the south-east by that river to the ocean; and thence towards the south-west and again towards the north-west by the ocean to the New Plymouth Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
PATEA.
This district is bounded towards the west and north generally by the Egmont Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the north-east and east generally by the Wanganui River to a point in line with the northern side of the road known as the “Mission Line;” thence towards the south-west by a right line across the said Wanganui River to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 72, Block XIV., Waipakura Survey District; thence by the said “Mission Line” to a point in line with the western boundary-line of Section No. 59, Block III., Westmere Survey District; thence again towards the south-east generally by a right line to the north-west corner of the said Section No. 59; thence by that section and Section No. 187 of the said Block III., and by Sections Nos. 193, 229, 134, 133, 132, and 131, all of Block II., Westmere Survey District, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence towards the south generally by the road fronting Sections Nos. 85 and 86 of the said Block II. to the line of road known as the “Kaiiwi Line;” thence by the south side of that road to the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 236 of Block II. aforesaid; thence towards the east generally by the last-mentioned section, and Sections Nos. 233, 232, 231, and 230, Block V., Westmere Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Section No. 230; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of Castlecliff Township; thence by that township to the ocean; and thence again towards the south-west by the ocean to the Egmont Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
WANGANUI.
This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Waikato Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the Wanganui River to Trig. Station No. 28, Kaimanawa Survey District; thence towards the east generally by the Hawke’s Bay Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to Trig. Station No. 32, Ohinewairua Survey District; thence towards the south by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Te Ruanui Block; thence by that block, the Turakina River, and Sections Nos. 68 and 64, Maungakaretu Survey District, to Hales’s Track (the aforesaid boundary from Trig. Station No. 32 to Maungakaretu being part of the northern boundary-line of Rangitikei County); thence towards the south-east generally by lines from hill to hill along the summit of the eastern watershed of the Wangaehu River to a line being the production of the north-eastern boundary-line of Block CCXLIX., Wangaehu Survey District; thence by that line and the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Block CCXLIX. and the north-eastern boundary-line of Block CCXLVII. to the northernmost corner of Block CCLXIV.; thence by the last-mentioned block and Blocks Nos. 2 of CCLXIII., 1 of CCLX., 1 of CCLVIII., CCLII., CCX., CCXI., LVI., LXVI., LXXV., LXXIV., CCLXXXIV., CCLXXXIII., CXC VII., CXC VI., CXC IV., LXX., LXIX., and LXIII., and Section No. 22, all of Wangaehu Survey District, and by Sections Nos. 24, 29, and 31, Block II., Rangitoto Survey District, to a point in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 34 of the said Block II.; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of the said Section No. 34; thence by that section, the crossing of a road, and by Sections Nos. 37, 98, and 97, Block V., of the said Rangitoto Survey District, Section No. 117, Block IX., of the said Rangitoto Survey District, and Sections Nos. 165 and 167, Block V., Koitiata Survey District, and by the north-western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section produced to the ocean; thence towards the south-west by the ocean; towards the west by the Patea Electoral District, hereinbefore described; and towards the north-west by the Egmont and New Plymouth Electoral Districts respectively, hereinbefore described, to the Waikato Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
RANGITIKEI.
This district is bounded towards the west and north generally by the Wanganui Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the ocean to Trig. Station No. 32, Ohinewairua Survey District; thence again towards the north and towards the east by the Hawke’s Bay Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to a point on the summit of the Ruahine Range due east of the northernmost corner of the Pemberton Small-farm Association’s Block; thence towards the south by a right line to the said corner; thence towards the south-east generally by the said Pemberton Small-farm Association’s Block to the Oroua River; thence by the said Oroua River to the railway-line; thence towards the south-west generally by the railway-line and by Section No. 149 (Native reserve), Section No. 86, Block XIV., Oroua Survey District, and that portion of Sections Nos. 85 and 132 of the said Block XIV. lying to the west of a line bearing 354° 11’ magnetic from a point on the northern boundary-line of the
