NOTICE is hereby given that THOMAS BEECHAM AND JOSEPH BEECHAM, trading together under the name or style of “Thomas Beecham,” at St. Helens, Lancashire, England, Patent Medicine Vendors, have applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation :—

The applicants claim as the essential particulars of this trade-mark the device of the bottle, the oval band suspended from which is an oblong tablet, together with the narrow oblong tablet and the arched band on the upper part of the bottle, and they disclaim any right to the exclusive use of the words “Tooth paste (in two places), At his New York depot, Price one shilling,” and “Prepared by.”

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade-mark shall apply.
Tooth-paste or dentifrice.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicants desire the Trade-mark to be registered.
Class No. 48.

Any person may, within two months of the date of this Gazette, give notice, in duplicate, at this office, of opposition to the registration of the trade-mark. A fee of £1 is payable with such notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that SIR ROBERT BURNETT AND COMPANY, of Vauxhall Distillery, Vauxhall, London, England, Distillers, have applied to register, under “The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889,” the trade-mark of which the following is a representation :—

The applicants claim as the essential particulars of this trade-mark the signature and the device or crest of the Burnett family, and they disclaim any right to the exclusive use of the added matter, except their name and address. They also claim that the said trade-mark has been in use since the 9th March, 1888.
