Setting apart Land in the Otago Land District for Leasing
as a Small Grazing-run under “The Land Act, 1885.”

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh
section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William
Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land mentioned
in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of
sections one hundred and ninety-eight to two hundred and
nineteen of Part VII. of “The Land Act, 1885,” relating to
small grazing-runs.

Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley,
of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron Onslow,
of Onslow in the County of Salop, and of West
Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron Cranley,
of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George; Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of
January, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-two.

Native Land proposed to be taken for a Road in Opua-
whanga Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth
day of December, 1891.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken for a public work authorised
to be constructed by the Government, to wit, the construc-
tion of a road :
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native
owners :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the
amendments thereof, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency William Hillier,
Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government
work known as a road shall and may be constructed on or
through the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 25 acres 1 rood
30 perches, more or less, in the Land District of Auckland,
situate in the Opuawhanga Survey District, being a road,
100 links wide, traversing the Wairahi Block; the northern
side of which commences at peg 115, on the south-western
boundary-line of Section No. 4, Block V., and proceeds
in a westerly direction to the western boundary-line of
the said block: as the same is delineated on the plans
marked S.G. 12979, 12979A, and 12979B, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wel-
ington, in the Land District of Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.
