Lease of Reserve at New Plymouth.
District Land and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 28th June, 1892.
IT is hereby notified, in terms of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” that a lease for ten years, from the 1st January, 1893, of the under-mentioned reserve will be offered by public auction, at this office, at noon, on Saturday, the 20th August, 1892:—

This reserve is two miles from the Town of New Plymouth and within a few chains of the breakwater.

Terms of Sale: One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on fall of hammer, and the balance, with Crown-grant fee, within thirty days thereafter, otherwise the part of the purchase-money paid by way of deposit shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land shall henceforth be null and void.
Plans may be inspected at the local post-offices and at the Land Offices, Auckland and Tauranga.

Rural Land for Sale by Auction.

IT is hereby notified, in terms of “The Land Act, 1885,” that the under-mentioned section of rural land will be offered for sale for cash, by public auction, at this office, on Wednesday, the 17th August, 1892.
One-fifth of the purchase-money, and the amount of valuation for improvements, must be deposited on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, together with £1 Crown-grant fee, within thirty days, or the deposit will be forfeited. There are no limitations or restrictions incumbent upon purchasers of cash lands at auction.
Plans and full particulars may be obtained at this office.

This reserve is situated at Barry’s Pass, adjoining the main road from Little River to Akaroa, about a quarter-mile westward of the Hill Top Hotel, and comprises hilly and undulating land, formerly covered with forest, but now roughly cleared and well grassed. A sum of £37 16s. must be paid on the fall of the hammer for the improvements on the land, consisting of fencing.

Open land, with some puriri in the gullies; situated on coast between Maketu and Matata.
Terms: Lease and registration fees, £1 10s., and half a year’s rent, together with the usual statutory declaration, must be deposited with the application.
If more applications than one are made on the same day for the same run, the lease will be submitted to public auction, the bidding to be limited to the applicants.
