THE UNION FIRE AND MARINE INSURANCE COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the office of the company, Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 7th day of June, 1892, the subjoined resolutions were duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the said company, also duly convened and held at the same place, on Tuesday, the 5th day of July, 1892, the said resolutions were duly confirmed:—
"That the sale of the business and assets of the Union Fire and Marine Insurance Company of New Zealand (Limited), made by the directors of the company on the 5th day of May, 1892, to the Alliance Assurance Company and the Alliance Marine and General Assurance Company (Limited), be confirmed."
"That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882,' and that a Liquidator be appointed for that purpose, and be authorised to adopt and carry the said agreement into effect."
"That William Devenish Meares, the General Manager of the company, be appointed Liquidator, and be and he is hereby authorised to adopt and carry the said agreement into effect."

THE BUSHY POINT BEACH DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).
TAKE notice that, at extraordinary meetings of this company, duly convened and held on the 6th day of June and the 6th day of July, 1892, respectively, a special resolution was duly passed and confirmed that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of "The Companies Act, 1882;" and that Messrs. WILLIAM BROWN and JOHN PATRICK SPRING, of Dunedin, be appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between JOHN LEE and JOHN HENRY ORMOND, carrying on business together at Gisborne under the style of "Lee and Ormond," Blacksmiths and Wheelwrights, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent; and it is hereby further notified that the said John Henry Ormond, who takes over the said business, will pay all the liabilities of the partnership, and is hereby authorised to receive and collect and give valid discharges for all debts owing to the late firm.
